Kenya's Oil to go through Hoima Tanga Pipeline

Kenya's Oil to go through Hoima Tanga Pipeline

[emoji23] [emoji115]

Lamu Port inaanza operations nxt year...there is already a refinery and access roads in Lamu...there is a police station and LAPSETT Headquarters building completed..there is a bill in parliament about oil exploration and a long road from Turkana oil fields to Lamu port....lol! huna hoja ww...everything is going on as planned...the next phase would be the pipeline...then resort cities to Ethiopia and S sudan...then railways to the two countries...ulitaka tujenge cities kwanza? ata ww unajua you must learn how to crawl first before u can walk

Tumezoea hizi wimbo za wabongo
,tutajenga bomba, tutajenga reli ,tutajenga bagomoyo ,tutajenga viwanda ,tutajenga hii ,tutajenga ile, Tutawapita, mtaisoma namba etc ,,,,,,bla bla blah....tuta- imekua national anthem

Imaginary projects that only exist in papers and in their heads,

Sahii kenya tunasema tumejenga reli ,tumejenga flyovers ,tunajenga lamu, tunajenga konza city ,tunajenga tattu city,na tayari mnaisoma namba
Yani vitu zinaonekana on the ground sio hekaya za magazeti

Logic also dictates we go alone because if we go through the Uganda TZ pipeline, we will make less money from our oil resources...sasa tell me, which one is more logical?
a) a country with a coastline and a port using a landlocked country's pipeline? that's not logical at all...
b) a country builds its own pipeline since it already has a port and a refinery in order to derive the maximum benefit from its oil exports.

kumbuka, we will have to pay you tax to export our oil...why the hell shld we do that? Unlike UG which doesnt have a choice, we do have a choice...
U will actually make same money as consolidation of operation means less cost. And we are common market. Sit down n relax n see how things turns out! U r too small for this...

wacha tufurahishe hawa mambumbumbu kidogo...hakuna vile nchi yenye port yake inaeza tumia port ya nchi nyingine esp when we have lapsett project, the largest infrastucture project in Africa depending on the pipeline.....Kenya will build its own pipeline eventually...wait and see...in the meantime, wacha hao wabongo wafurahie kidogo...

naelewa ni wawekezaji ila usifikiri Kenya has no say in it...Kenya has a lot of say in the pipeline project...it can decide to pay back Tullow for exploration and cancel agreements immediately..my friend, the oil is Kenya's...not Tullow's...by the way, without the government's approval, those investors would not have carried out any operations in our country...there is no way Kenya will agree to sharing pipeline...just wait and see how it goes...it will build its own pipeline..

Kenya says it is unaware of any preference by Total for the Kenyan oil to be moved through the Uganda-Tanzania pipeline.

"We are yet to get any notification from our oil development partners on this suggestion over a preferred route, so I cannot give a response to that," Kenya's Petroleum Principal Secretary Andrew Kamau said.

Is not that easy bro, sio issue ya kusema tunawarudishia pesa zao na tunaendelea, hayo mafuta utamuuzia nani?, yaani mtu kataabika kufanya exploration, kasecure masoko, leo wewe uje uchukue kirahisi hivyo

ok you have a point but can we stop our LAPSETT prohect just because Total says it wants to use another route? Remember LAPSETT depends on the pipeline...sasa pengine serikali ifanye mkataba na wawekezaji wafanye risk investment analysis kisha waje na conclusion...ila sioni serikali ya Kenya iki give up a whole LAPSETT project just for oil exports...ila wacha tusubiri tuone matukio mkuu...

I always wonder Many Kenyans like this one here are living in their own world. don't u see these projects are U/C??

It is just a wishful thinking. But ofcos this is a proposal that Kenya would not accept.

Why should Kenya incur all that cost passing its oil thru Uganda and Tanzania, and use the Tanzanian port when it has its own pipeline and sea- port closeby?

Vipi South Sudan Tunapakana nayo wapi?
Pia Kumbuka kama pipeline itapita Lamu will have to bypass Juba the situation the regime there is avoiding with route to Port Sudan as control of the resource become difficult.
