1. Tanzania is already comparing its NOT YET STARTED RAIL TO FINISHED ETHIOPIA KENYA NIGERIA AND MOROCCAN rail

2. Tanzanias Rail will cost
1.1bn$ for nearly 500km
Kenyas 609km cost 3.5bn$
Ethiopias 415km double track cost 3.8bn$
Morocca 150km cost 1.8bn$

3. Tanzania is Talking about 160km/hr when they are completed in 2022
That is 5yrs away
Kenya is starting electifying at 49bn kshs in 2019.....and expects 240km/hr Pass trains from 2020- in line with 6700mw + nuclear power project starting

4. Someone educate this millard ayo guy Turkey which is building Tanzanias Rail doesnt have Those Trains....and stop confusing Trams na Rail road .....

5. We all know consumerism in EA is only in Kenya that is why KR will record profits the rest Including Ethiopian Rail will soon Enough Realize that unlike Ethiopian airlines that is profiting from carrying foreigners Ethiopians cannot afford The Rail and it has already suspended several trips

Imejenga Railroad,
45 Stations, Inland port Embakasi, Port terminal Mombasa and imenunua
56 trains 1654 wagons and 26 passanger trains ....

While i want to critisize this govt on SGR the only bad thing ni Interior Chinese Trains look like this all of them so we got a pretty good deal

Hatimae serikali ya Tanzania kupitia Wizara ya uchukuzi imesaini mkataba wa awamu ya kwanza ya ujenzi wa Reli ya kisasa itakayowezesha Treni zinazotumia umeme kuanza kufanya kazi kwa mara ya kwanza Tanzania.

Waziri wa uchukuzi Profesa Makame Mbarawa amesema ‘Sasa hivi kutoka Dar es salaam kwenda Mwanza unatumia saa 36 ambapo kuna kilometa 1219 lakini Treni mpya za umeme zikianza kufanya kazi safari itakua rahisi zaidi‘

Leo tunashuhudia utiaji saini makubaliano ya ujenzi wa sehemu ya kipande cha reli kati ya Dar es salaam na Morogoro chenye urefu wa kilometa 300 na mkataba huu utakua baina ya RAHACO kampuni hodhi ya rasilimali za reli na ubia kati ya kampuni ya UTURUKI na URENO’

Katika Afrika Treni kubwa ambayo itakwenda spidi kubwa itakua ni ya Tanzania (Kilomita 160 kwa saa), Treni nyingine itayokua na spidi kubwa itakua ni Morocco itakua kilometa 200 kwa saa, naamini na sisi Tanzania tutabadilisha mawazo kwenye Treni ya Dar Mwanza tutakua Kilometa 200 kwa saa

Kama hufahamu, wakati wa utawala wa Uingereza marekebisho kidogo yalifanyika kwenye usafiri wa Treni Tanzania kutoka Treni inayotumia mvuke kuja kwenye injini ya Diesel, hata hivyo miundombinu hii kwa sasa ni chakavu na mwendokasi sio chini ya Kilomita 30 kwa saa ambayo kutoka Dar kwenda Mwanza unachukua saa 36‘ – Profesa Mbarawa

Mda wa mradi huu wa Umeme kukamilika ni miaka miwili na nusu baada ya ujenzi kuanza, kutoka Dar es salaam kwenda Morogoro Treni mpya ya umeme itatumia saa moja na dakika 16, Dar es salaam kwenda Dodoma itakua masaa mawili na nusu, Dar-Mwanza saa saba na nusu’ – Profesa Mbarawa

First of all Mr. Physics Expert, CoG doesn't affect speed, it affects stability.
Secondly, those trains are not running they must first be inspected and tested for quality and for assurance that the desired requirements were met before they can run on their own. That's why they are being pulled by a service locomotive at that speed.

Yule jamaa ametiririka na mahesabu, amekokotoa na ameonyesha kuwa na uelewa mkubwa sana wa mambo haya. Wengi mnaombishia mnafanya kwa mihemko na hisia bila ya kuzingatia mantiki ya mahesabu yake.

Tulia tukukupe elimu, nimeona hapo juu Geza amehijo physics yenu na mimi nahoji pia. Treni ya umeme (stima) inavyo kimbia ndivyo inavyo kula umeme. Sisi tuna reli ndefu kuliko nchi nyingine ya EAC, speed 160km/h inatosha Ku balance matumizi ya umeme. Kama yakenu itaenda 240km/h na umeme itakula hivyo hivyo. So usifikiri sisi tunashindwa kuwa na trani ya mpaka 300km/h lakini lazima tupime na gharama ya umeme kwa speed.
