As much as its inhumane, I think they had it coming. It was/is a road reserve so definitely at a later time they would inevitably be evicted. Remember that's an informal settlement. It wasn't part of the initial plan. So those guys were squatters waiting for their fate.The government should have compensated these people. I wonder why there is a delay in allocating them to the residents of Kibera.In real sense they are supposed to be relocated to the apartments you see on the right, but this bieng Kenya the apartments will probably go to someother people who didnt even live in Kibera
