Wa maina sio jina la kike ni jina tu kama lingine linaloashiria kizazi, kwa mfano Ngugi wa Thiong'o ni jina linalomaanisha ngugi mtoto ama mwana wa Thiong'o ambaye ni babake. Kweli kuna wakikuyu kadha wanaojiita majina ya kike lakini kuna tofauti ya Wairimu ambaye ni mwanamke na wa Thiong'o.
