This is a massive Kshs 100 billion private investment by Centum PLC (Kenyan private investment company) and IDB (International Development Bank). Five new private cities are under construction across Kenya(Tatu in ruiru, Mwale in Kakamega,Northlands in Ruiru , Tilisi in Limuru, Vipingo city in Kilifi) combined with 7 private industrial parks, all are investments running into hundreds of billions. These projects will change the way we live and work, they will also alleviate the burden on current cities (Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu) by reducing the population in the main cities into these satellite cities.
