Mwili wa kinyozi huyo umekutwa chumba cha hotel na mhudumu wa hoteli hiyo na alilipoti tukio hilo polisi. Kabla ya tukio hilo inasemekana uongozi wa hotel hiyo ulipokea simu nyingi kutoka kwa wateja wakilalamika kusikia kelele chumbani mwa Ricardo Marques.
Mhudumu huyo anasema alipoingia chumbani mwa Ricardo alisikia harufu kali ya pombe na uuona mwili wa Ricardo. Polisi wanasema mara baada ya kufika mahali hapo walifanya upekuzi kila mahali lakini hawakuona silaha yoyote iliyotumika kumdhulu.
Inasemekana Ricardo mwenye asili ya Ureno amezaliwa na kukulia mji wa Madeira ambao Cristiano Ronaldo amezaliwa na kukulia hapo, Ricardo amekaa hotelini hapo kwa kipindi cha miaka miwili.

A celebrity hairdresser whose clients included footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been found dead in a Swiss hotel room.
The body of the man, named as Ricardo Marques Ferreira, was found in bed with multiple stab wounds at a business hotel in the Albisrieden district of Zurich on Friday.
According to reports in Portuguese daily newspaper Correio da Manha the victim was discovered by a cleaner after several guests reported a disturbance inside the room.
A 39-year-old Brazilian man was arrested by police and remains in custody.
The newspaper claimed Mr Ferreira was Ronaldo’s former hairdresser and was photographed styling the Juventus star during a 2015 photoshoot.
His other clients were said to include Portuguese actors and models.
Mr Ferreira, who was nicknamed Caju, was born on the Portuguese island of Madeira which is also the birthplace of the football star.
He had been living in Switzerland for around two years, Correio da Manha said.
The Cantonal Police of Zurich said in a statement: “The intensive investigations conducted by the cantonal police of Zurich together with the Forensic Institute Zurich and the Institute for Legal Medicine of the University of Zurich, and in cooperation with the prosecution for serious violent crime, led to the identification of the alleged perpetrator.
“The 39-year-old Brazilian was arrested by canton police investigators at his place of residence and taken to the relevant prosecutor’s office.
“The background and motive of the crime are the subject of the ongoing investigation.”
The Gestifute sports agency that represents Ronaldo has been approached for comment.
