Jolie and Shimizu first met on the set of their 1996 film Foxfire. At the time, Jolie was married to her first husband Jonny Lee Miller. Still, the Oscar winner told Girlfriends magazine that the initial spark with model-actress Shimizu was very much palpable.
"I would probably have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn't married my husband," Jolie, now 39, told the mag in 1997. "I fell in love with her the first second I saw her."

Years later, Jolie opened up about her "very sexual" nature in a 20/20 interview where she discussed her relationship with Shimizu. "[I was] surprised when I suddenly found myself having these feelings I always had for men, but for a woman," Jolie told then-host Barbara Walters. "And wanting to kiss her and wanting to touch her."

As for Jolie? The Oscar winner and her longtime love Brad Pitt finally got married on Aug. 23, in an intimate, top-secret ceremony held at their Southern French estate, Chateau Miraval. "It's a wonderful feeling to be married," the parents of six kids told Hello! magazine. "The children are so happy."

Shimizu, a Japanese-American model, and Harper met at a 2012 party. "I didnt believe it myself until I saw it," the former Calvin Klein model, 47, told the New York Times of meeting Harper.
