Uchumi wa Kenya hutegemea sana "sector" ya Fedha baada ya "Manufacturing , tourism, transportation, and tourism", kudorora kwa kiwango kikubwa sana katika miaka ya hivi karibu.

Jinamizi la kupata hasara linalotokana na kusambaratika kwa uchumi wa Kenya, baada ya kuitafuna KQ na kuisambaratisha kabisa, baadae jinamizi hilo kuanza kuitafuna SGR na kuisababishia hasara kubwa katika kipindi cha mwaka wa kwanza tangu kuanza kwake, sasa hivi jinamizi hilo limevamia kwa nguvu sana katika " sector " ya Bima na kuisababishia hasara kubwa katika ndani ya miaka 3 mfululizo.

Hali hii ya uchumi wa Kenya kuendelea kuzorota mwaka hadi mwaka, bila Kuwepo kwa dalili yoyote ya kuimarika, ndio sababu kubwa inayosababisha makampuni Mengi ya Kenya kukimbia na kwenda kuwekeza katika nchi za jirani, ili kujihakikishia usalama wa kiuchumi ambao umekua ukiporomoka huko Kenya.

The same same year, insurance firms reported drop of 61% of their revenues, KQ reported lose of 200%, SGR reported lose of over $100M, cement industry, beer and milk industries recorded huge decline of profit.
Questions: Should we be pleased with increase of 6.3%(Numerical data), or with what is going on the ground?

Some sectors are growing like ICT and construction. Why are you not talking about those ones? Why are you only focussing on the sectors that are not growing?

My be we should list areas which recorded profits/growth vs sectors which recorded loses, then let's see which sectors have biggest impacts on lives of citizens. You can't afford to kill agriculture and manufacturing sectors over ICT, that is stupidity of the highest degree.

2018 Agriculture sector grew. 2017 ndio kulikuwa na drought. 2019 pia kuna drought agriculture itafanya vibaya this year. 2018 hamna mtu alikufa kwa njaa wala hamna msaada wa chakula uliopewa watu kwenye maeneo kame. Hio ndio maana tulifikia 6% kwa mara ya kwanza since 2011. Agriculture is 25% of Kenya's gdp kwa hivyo kama hakuna ukame tutavuna majani chai mengi, kahawa kibao, maua yatapandwa kwa wingi. Avocado yatavunwa kwa wingi. Vegetables nazo tutaexport kwa wingi. 2018 ilikuwa mwaka nzuri for Agriculture. Hata mahindi hatukuimport from Tanzania or Mexico.
