EACOP ni bomba linalojengwa ili kusafirisha crude oil pekee. Au kama nimekosea basi nieleze. Kwani EACOP ya pili itajengwa kusafirisha gas? Na hio pipeline ya gas nani ataifinance maana Total hana haja na gas, yeye anataka tu kuexport crude oil. Na kama mtajenga gas pipeline ya Pili kutoka TZ hadi UG au hata Kenya nani atafinance hio project?

EACOP ni bomba linalojengwa ili kusafirisha crude oil pekee. Au kama nimekosea basi nieleze. Kwani EACOP ya pili itajengwa kusafirisha gas? Na hio pipeline ya gas nani ataifinance maana Total hana haja na gas, yeye anataka tu kuexport crude oil. Na kama mtajenga gas pipeline ya Pili kutoka TZ hadi UG au hata Kenya nani atafinance hio project?

Kuna wakati Kenya ilipropose kwamba tujenge gas pipeline kutoka Dar hadi Mombasa ili mtuuzie gas, watanzania wenyewe ndo mkakataa kwasababu ya wivu au uoga. Mkasema eti mkituuzia gas tutaichukua yote na tuitumie kujiendeleza kuwaliko hata nyinyi wenye gas! Mkasema eti kwa sasa mnataka mjipange na muitumie hio gas kwa mahitaji ya ndani alafu baadae mkishajitosheleza ndo mta tuuzia.

Sahii vile mko radhi kuuzia Uganda inaonyesha wazi chanzo kikuu cha kutunyima gas ilikua sio eti mnataka mtosheleze matumizi yenu ya ndani, ilikua tu ni uoga au wivu wa kuona tukitumia gas yenu kujiendeleza kuwaliko hata nyi wenyewe.
