We must win the next five 5 games ( not an easy task at all ) But if we do as well as beat Spurs,Everton & Chelsea who have to come at Anfield then who knows where we can finish!

GOAL - Wigan 0-1 Liverpool - Stewart Downing (2 mins)You've read that correctly...what a start at the DW Stadium. Pepe Reina takes a goal kick quickly and picks out Philippe Coutinho with a raking 60-yard pass. The Brazilian twists his marker into knots on the left before standing up a fine cross which Stewart Downing heads in from six yards.

GOAL - Wigan 0-2 Liverpool - Luis Suarez (18 mins)Liverpool may have got themselves a cracker in Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian is at it again, finding space in the hole, weaving on to his left foot and then sliding a perfectly-weighted pass in to the run of Luis Suarez, who delays his shot perfectly before planting in to the corner. Lovely goal.

GOAL - Wigan 0-3 Liverpool - Luis Suarez (34 mins)...and that free-kick finds its way in. Luis Suarez takes aim but he gets lucky on this occasion, skimming off the bonce of Shaun Maloney before going in off the combination of post and the gloves of Ali Al Habsi.

GOAL - Wigan 0-4 Liverpool - Luis Suarez (49 mins)Err, scratch that. This is done and dusted.
Glen Johnson makes it with a powerful, surging run down the right as he beats three men before toe-poking the ball through for Luis Suarez to run on to. He is onside, runs into the penalty area and again delays his finish perfectly to take just enough time before slamming home for our second hat-trick of the day.
