While he is unlikely to return to coaching for the foreseeable future, Klopp’s management team, Project MJK, have already announced a partnership with global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE.

They are set to act as SPORTFIVE’s commercial and marketing representative for the next three years, with Klopp’s global brand presence, particularly in Asia and the US, set to be bolstered as part of the deal,.

Klopp’s personal Instagram account, which only launched last month, is said to be because of the deal, which is aiming to strengthen Klopp’s reach across the globe.

“We are very excited about this partnership,” Mike Jaggle, the managing director of MJK said. “The industry-leading experience and global infrastructure of SPORTFIVE will enable us to expand our footprint and to explore innovative opportunities outside of Germany.”
