Lucas could be ruled out for a month by injury
Liverpool could be without midfielder Lucas Leiva for a month after he suffered a thigh strain in last weekends Merseyside derby.
Lucas played through the pain barrier at Goodison Park, but did not last beyond the first 30 minutes as he broke down. He was already carrying a thigh injury suffered the previous week against West Ham.
There is concern at Anfield it is a significant injury, with a minimum of four weeks to recover.
Rodgers is also assessing the fitness of his creative trio Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling and Adam Lallana, all of whom have been carrying knocks.
