JUVE IN FOR MASCH?
Since the end of the transfer window we've had little scraps of gossip to keep us just about sated, but here's a great big juicy bone of a rumour.
The Sun reports that Juventus are planning to make a bid for Javier Mascherano, who they apparently tried to sign from West Ham when Liverpool made their move a couple of years back.
Juve will offer £23million for the midfield hardcase, it says here, with club officials apparently planning to get on the blower to Anfield in the next couple of weeks.
Masch is apparently unhappy with the sale of Xabi Alonso, and if true it's more bad news for Liverpool, with Barcelona still interested and will no doubt start sniffing around if Juve firm up their interest.
Javier also has an Italian passport, which we're not sure makes the deal more likely, but we thought we'd tell you anyway.

I think its high time now for Reds to follow up Fergie policy of having good players who can only play at Anfield! Man wana wachezaji ambao wanawasaidia wao tu lakn hata siku moja hawawaniwii na timu nyingine kama Fletcher, Park, Scholes etc na enzi za zamani Irwin, Fortune, Nevilles bro etc.
