RAFA BENITEZ can still lift the Premier League trophy.

But he may have to win a competition run by sponsors Barclays to do it.
Boss Benitez's Kop flops are a dismal 11 points behind leaders Chelsea. So entering the Barclays comp could well be his best bet for seeing silver.
They are offering 20 fans from anywhere in the world the chance to win the Premier League trophy for a day.
And there's nothing to stop the beleaguered Benitez applying, too.
If successful, it could be the closest he ever gets to lifting the prized silverware - though he will be monitored closely by security guards!
The event is to celebrate the renewal of Barclay's Premier League sponsorship through to 2013 and is promoted on the various clubs' websites.
Liverpool, with no title since 1990, are not crowing quite as much as Manchester United.
United have bagged 11 Premier League crowns since its inception and say on their website: "Imagine emulating Gary Neville and Co as you raise the trophy aloft, impressing your colleagues at work or school, making your friends green with envy or just letting it take pride of place in your living room."

Premier League - Benitez: If Torres goes, I go

Rafael Benitez will quit as Liverpool manager if star striker Fernando Torres is sold against his will.

The club's well-publicised debts have led to questions about whether owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett would be tempted should a big-money offer come in for the Spain striker.
But Benitez told The Times the 25-year-old would not be sold.
"I'm confident it will never happen," he said. "If it did, I'd resign."
The financial situation at Liverpool means they struggle to compete with their Premier League big-four rivals in the transfer market.
And Benitez admitted the situation had led him to make some mistakes.
"When we have spent big, normally it's been very good business," he said. "Torres, (Javier) Mascherano, (Pepe) Reina, (Xabi) Alonso.
"(Robbie) Keane is a good player but we had to sell him because he was not playing at the level we knew he could play.
"Ryan (Babel) was signed for the future and we are waiting for his improvement. He has to be more consistent.
"With the fringe players, we needed to take a gamble on Bosmans and one, two million-pound players. Some of these players have not been good enough for us.
"It is a risk you have to accept when there is not too much money about."

Rafa is right.... Hawa yankees wamefanya club kama duka la mechandise!!! They want quick recovery of their money and then sell the club!!!

What Rafa said tells more than just those few words... He is alerting fan that the club is heading down the dark tunnel with the american owner..
