Re: Call for Collaborative Partnership in Provision for Heavy Equipment Operations Training with Institute of Heavy Equipment and Technology
Please receive greetings from the Institute of heavy equipment and technology located in Nala along Singida road just after the weighbridge and am also glad for the time and allow us in introducing who the Institute of Heavy equipment and technology (IHET) we are and which area can we collaborate in Youth community capacity engagement to our Dodoma. We are a branch from our mother head office which is located in Kijitonyama -Dar es Salaam.
The Institute of Heavy Equipment and Technology is an institute under NACTVET and we teach the students a variety of skills that are essential for success. We have an abundance of equipment, instructors, and a real-life work site that prepares the students for employability. IHET is doing what we were created to do. We are efficiently and effectively helping the Tanzania Government meet the high-tech challenges of today’s global economy. Our mission is to provide relevant technical education and training to support student goals, a skilled workforce, and the economic vitality of our communities.
In doing so we value collaborative partnerships with business, industry, labor, government, educational systems, and our communities, that is why we feel happy to visit and engage you in this good value engagement so that you can see which angle you can partner with us in sponsoring those interest but are unable to pursue these training due to financial constraints so that you see where you can support.
Our institute offers training of different durations thus, we provide short-term operations of heavy equipment namely (bulldozer, motor Grader, roller or compactor, hydraulic excavator, front end loader, dump truck, forklift, or telehandler, and cranes. all these training lapses for 8 weeks whereby four weeks are for orientation to the machine and four weeks are for the practical operation of the machine training. Computer Course and front operation.
We also have long-term course training which lapses for one year for the level up to Level III to the following courses: Welding and fabrication, auto electric, motor vehicle mechanics, plant or heavy equipment mechanics.
As I elaborate above, our institute provides this training using very sophisticated systems (simulators) before we take students to actual on-site practical output as our motto. We feel comfortable releasing a student from our institute who is ready to operate the machine and not a babysitter graduate.
We are really Certified with both suppliers of the machine, spares, and users of the equipment like mining industries, Constructions industries, and Contractors
So, I hope you will be ready to collaborate with us so that we embark on to venture into this isolated segment of training for our youth in our community as a whole.
As we talked about during the discussion, we are ready to respond to anything that you think will give more insight into our institution or meetings please do not hesitate to reach us anytime through the following email address:
