Nikiendelea kujibu kwa uelewa wangu:
1. the spirit is the divine entity in us. It is what is refered to as Nefesh in Hebrew and Nafs in arabic (or Nafsi in Kiswahili). This is eternal, and is can be illustrated by the ocean in the picture. to me it is the most important dimention of a human being. This dimention is perfect. Ndio pumzi ya Mungu.
2. The soul, also invisible is the entity that results from the interaction between our spirit and our human existence. It is referred to as Rouah in Hebrew or Roho in Kiswahili. It is not perfect as mtu anaweza kua na roho mbaya au nzuri tokana na his life, his mind, his experience, circumstances etc. It is this dimension that fades away (progressively) as the spirit leaving the body goes back to the ocean. The soul can be mislead into believing that it is the most important dimension of a human being and start behaving as if there is no ocean, and that when it dies it is the end of everything. The soul can only have an interaction with this world for as long as it inhabits a body.
3. The body is the temple, the sanctuary that welcomes the spirit and the soul. Once the spirit leaves it, the body starts a decomposition process to give its energy back to the earth. Some people don't go beyond believing in what their five senses tells them (sight, noise, taste, touch and smell). they are trapped in their body, they are trapped by the five organs of sense: eye, ear, tongue, skin and noze.
Dah,JF ni zaidi ya elimu.
