After the Westgate attack, here is how some members of Kenyan communities reacted:

1. Kikuyus: Some Kikuyus responded by being enterprising. HD videos of the Westgate attack with complete voicing and narration by DJ Afro are available. Calendars featuring graphics of the Westgate attack are being sold for only 20 Bob.

2. Luos: It is said that Luos have given names to newborns inspired by the Westgate attack, such as Westgate Onyango, White Widow Achieng, Shopping Mall Otieno, and We are One Odhiambo! Additionally, businesses in Kondele have rebranded themselves as "Westgate Butchery," "Pray for Westgate Hotel," "Westgate Obama Omena Wholesalers," and "Westgate Shoe Repairs," among others.

3. Kambas: A song titled "WestiNgate Kuliwaka Moto" with complete audio and video has already been released. There are also some unique and energetic "terroristic" dance moves associated with it.

4. Kalenjin: People in Iten are reportedly training day and night to win the next race and dedicate it to Ruto for leaving The Hague and coming to Kenya to offer condolences to the Westgate victims.

5. The Somalis: While others focused on identifying the terrorists and counting survivors, Somalis were more interested in the type of bazookas and machine guns used in the attack.

6. Coasterians: New lesos and kangas (traditional fabrics) have been released with several proverbs, such as "When you are amazed, it's like a cat stuck in a cooking pot, you haven't seen anything like Westgate."

7. Luhyas: Reports indicate that some Luhyas were shocked by the destruction and loss of life at the mall. However, what shocked them the most was the fact that the "Chicken Section" of the mall was razed down.
