Israel bhana wana majivuno. Sasa wanawaamuru wapalestina 1.1 Mill waondoke Gaza.

ELIMU YETU: Inafuta Ujinga, Haiongezi Maarifa

Waliokufa hukumbukwa bila kujali wamekufaje. Kifo kinachotokana na ujinga kinasuta. Duh!! Tanzania yetu inaumwa. Pole sana. Habari mbaya kila wakati. Taifa linaumwa sana.

Tuliona Samunge. Walikwenda madaktari, Maaskofu, Mitume, Wanajimu, Maprofesa, na wengine wasiotajwa kirahisi. Mzee wa kikombe ni mzalendo kweli. Kama mabeberu wangemtumia, tungekosa majeneza ya kuzikia. Tatizo hapo si ugonjwa. Ni kukosa maarifa. Kikombe kutibu magonjwa yote!!??

Tuliona Morogoro, Mbeya na kwingineko. Lori la mafuta linaanguka. Wenyeji wanaona Mungu kawakumbuka! Wanaiba mpaka betri ya gari. Mafuta yale na betri vina wateja mitaani. Eti serikali ipige marufuku!? Itapiga marufuku malori kuanguka? Elimu haijaongeza maarifa.

Siku hizi umekuja upako. Mafuta, chumvi, maji, juice, vitambaa, na hata mikate. Si bure, kuna mtu anapata fedha. Sasa badala ya kukanyaga mafuta, tunakanyagana kwenye mishipa ya fahamu. Upako unatutoa roho.

- Watu wapewe chandarua halafu wanavulia dagaa,

-Serikali inatangaza elimu bure.

Duh! Kuna mtu kakanyaga mrija wa Oksijeni. Mgonjwa wetu atakata roho.

Ps 8:4-5, 6-7, 8-9
R. (2ab)
O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
When I behold your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars which you set in place—
What is man that you should be mindful of him,
or the son of man that you should care for him?
R. O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
You have made him little less than the angels,
and crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him rule over the works of your hands,
putting all things under his feet.
R.
O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
All sheep and oxen,
yes, and the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, the fishes of the sea,
and whatever swims the paths of the seas.
R. O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!
Alleluia
Ps 119:36, 29b
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Incline my heart, O God, to your decrees;
And favor me with your law.

Genesis 1:20
Then God said: Let the water teem with an abundance of living creatures, and on the earth let birds fly beneath the dome of the sky.
Genesis 1:21
God created the great sea monsters and all kinds of crawling living creatures with which the water teems, and all kinds of winged birds. God saw that it was good,
Genesis 1:22
and God blessed them, saying: Be fertile, multiply, and fill the water of the seas; and let the birds multiply on the earth.
Genesis 1:23

Genesis 1:24
Then God said: Let the earth bring forth every kind of living creature: tame animals, crawling things, and every kind of wild animal. And so it happened:
Genesis 1:25
God made every kind of wild animal, every kind of tame animal, and every kind of thing that crawls on the ground. God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:26
Then God said: Let us make human beings in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the tame animals, all the wild animals, and all the creatures that crawl on the earth.
Genesis 1:27
God created mankind in his image; in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:28
God blessed them and God said to them: Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and all the living things that crawl on the earth.
Genesis 1:29
God also said: See, I give you every seed-bearing plant on all the earth and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit on it to be your food;

and to all the wild animals, all the birds of the air, and all the living creatures that crawl on the earth, I give all the green plants for food. And so it happened.

God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work he had done in creation.
Genesis 2:4
This is the story of the heavens and the earth at their creation. When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens—
Gospel
Mk 7:1-13
Mark 7:1
Now when the Pharisees with some scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around him,
Mark 7:2
they observed that some of his disciples ate their meals with unclean, that is, unwashed, hands.
Mark 7:3
(For the Pharisees and, in fact, all Jews, do not eat without carefully washing their hands, keeping the tradition of the elders.
Mark 7:4
And on coming from the marketplace they do not eat without purifying themselves. And there are many other things that they have traditionally observed, the purification of cups and jugs and kettles [and beds].)
Mark 7:5
So the Pharisees and scribes questioned him, “Why do your disciples not follow the tradition of the elders but instead eat a meal with unclean hands?”
Mark 7:6
He responded, “Well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me;
Mark 7:7
In vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.’
Mark 7:8
You disregard God’s commandment but cling to human tradition.”
Mark 7:9
He went on to say, “How well you have set aside the commandment of God in order to uphold your tradition!
Mark 7:10
For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and ‘Whoever curses father or mother shall die.’
Mark 7:11
Yet you say, ‘If a person says to father or mother, “Any support you might have had from me is qorban”’ (meaning, dedicated to God),
Mark 7:12
you allow him to do nothing more for his father or mother.
Mark 7:13
You nullify the word of God in favor of your tradition that you have handed on. And you do many such things.”

Evening Reflection (QT)
Introduction
The disciples of John the Baptizer speak to him about those who are being baptized by Jesus and following him. John acknowledges that his own ministry must now decrease as the ministry of Jesus increases.
Reflection
In today’s reading, the ministries of Jesus and John appear to occur simultaneously. What is John’s reaction to what his disciples tell him? What are your thoughts about John’s words in verse 30? How are his words an indication of his faithfulness and witness?
Pray
Lord Jesus, I rejoice with you when others accept you as their Savior. Like John the Baptizer, my happiness is complete when I hear and obey your voice.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
John 3:22-36
John 3:22
After this, Jesus and his disciples went into the region of Judea, where he spent some time with them baptizing.
John 3:23
John was also baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was an abundance of water there, and people came to be baptized,
John 3:24
for John had not yet been imprisoned.
John 3:25
Now a dispute arose between the disciples of John and a Jew about ceremonial washings.
John 3:26
So they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, the one who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you testified, here he is baptizing and everyone is coming to him.”
John 3:27
John answered and said, “No one can receive anything except what has been given him from heaven.
John 3:28
You yourselves can testify that I said [that] I am not the Messiah, but that I was sent before him.
John 3:29
The one who has the bride is the bridegroom; the best man, who stands and listens for him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made complete.
John 3:30
He must increase; I must decrease.”
John 3:31
The one who comes from above is above all. The one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things. But the one who comes from heaven [is above all].
John 3:32
He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.
John 3:33
Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy.
John 3:34
For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God. He does not ration his gift of the Spirit.
John 3:35
The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him.
John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.

Nilijiandaa nikaambatana naye.

Nikawagawia zile wheel chairs Kwa mikono yangu mwenyewe.

Nilipotaka kuondoka mtoto mmoja alinishika miguu yangu. Nilijaribu kujinasua taratibu lakini alinikazia macho akinitazama usoni.

Niliinama chini nikamuuliza, kuna kitu kingine unahitaji?

Reading I
Gn 2:18-25
Genesis 2:18
The LORD God said: It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suited to him.
Genesis 2:19
So the LORD God formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the air, and he brought them to the man to see what he would call them; whatever the man called each living creature was then its name.
Genesis 2:20
The man gave names to all the tame animals, all the birds of the air, and all the wild animals; but none proved to be a helper suited to the man.
Genesis 2:21
So the LORD God cast a deep sleep on the man, and while he was asleep, he took out one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh.
Genesis 2:22
The LORD God then built the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman. When he brought her to the man,
Genesis 2:23
the man said: “This one, at last, is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called ‘woman,’ for out of man this one has been taken.”
Genesis 2:24
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body.
Genesis 2:25
The man and his wife were both naked, yet they felt no shame.
Gospel
Mk 7:24-30
Mark 7:24
From that place he went off to the district of Tyre. He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it, but he could not escape notice.
Mark 7:25
Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him. She came and fell at his feet.
Mark 7:26
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
Mark 7:27
He said to her, “Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs.”
Mark 7:28
She replied and said to him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”
Mark 7:29
Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
Mark 7:30
When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.

Evening Reflection (QT)
Introduction
Jesus predicts his betrayal by Judas, and he gives his disciples a new commandment about loving one another.
Reflection
In today’s reading, Jesus gives a new commandment—to love one another in the same way that he has shown his love for people. In what ways do you and your community of faith make Jesus’s love known to others? Based on today’s and yesterday’s readings, how has Jesus made God and God’s love known?
Pray
Lord Jesus, as you have loved me, may I, in turn, love others as you have commanded. May my words and actions this day be in accord with your will and give honor and glory to you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
John 13:21-35
John 13:21
When he had said this, Jesus was deeply troubled and testified, “Amen, amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me.”
John 13:22
The disciples looked at one another, at a loss as to whom he meant.
John 13:23
One of his disciples, the one whom Jesus loved, was reclining at Jesus’ side.
John 13:24
So Simon Peter nodded to him to find out whom he meant.
John 13:25
He leaned back against Jesus’ chest and said to him, “Master, who is it?”
John 13:26
Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I hand the morsel after I have dipped it.” So he dipped the morsel and [took it and] handed it to Judas, son of Simon the Iscariot.
John 13:27
After he took the morsel, Satan entered him. So Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”
John 13:28
[Now] none of those reclining at table realized why he said this to him.
John 13:29
Some thought that since Judas kept the money bag, Jesus had told him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or to give something to the poor.
John 13:30
So he took the morsel and left at once. And it was night.
John 13:31
When he had left, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
John 13:32
[If God is glorified in him,] God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him at once.
John 13:33
My children, I will be with you only a little while longer. You will look for me, and as I told the Jews, ‘Where I go you cannot come,’ so now I say it to you.
John 13:34
I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.
John 13:35
This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
