Marubani wa shirika la ndege la Kenya Airways wanasema hawatarusha ndege kufuatia mizozo ya muda mrefu kati ya muungano wao na usimamizi wa shirika hilo.
Marubani hao walidai kuwa madai yao mengi hayajatatuliwa, na hivyo wanaamua kuchukua uamuzi huo.
Kwa mujibu wa notisi yao watagoma ndani ya siku 14 zijazo "Tumetoa maombi kadhaa kwa uongozi wa KQ kushughulikia masuala haya...Hata hivyo, wewe na timu ya wasimamizi wa KQ bado hamjaguswa na hamjatatizika kutafuta suluhu kwa masuala haya ambayo yanaathiri udugu wa majaribio," taarifa iliyotolewa leo na Shirika la Marubani la Kenya Airline inasomeka.

In the letter signed by Kalpa Secretary-General Murithi Nyagah, the pilots said that KQ has unilaterally stopped both the employees’ and the employers’ contribution in 2020 and never resumed since.
The union also accused the management of the airline of continued breach of the Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations and certain clauses in their CBA.
“We believe that a major overhaul and the restructuring of the entire KQ board and management team will be necessary if the airline seeks to fly out of the current turbulence,” added the statement.
The notice has been copied to Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia, his Labour counterpart Simon Chelugui and Central Organisation Trade Union Secretary-General Francis Atwoli.
