Those procedurally hired in Kenya and with valid work/residence permits need not worry. Target is this non-value adding lots out to strain social amenities,harbouring criminal intents and generally those in positions Kenyans can competently take up!

Silvya Mulinge has no special technical skill she is actually a foodscience graduate. Management experience is not a skill, success of safcom is not due to her nor can it be attributed to her. Infact safcom is not succeful due to Michael Joseph alone its a mix of many things. There many Tanzanians running huge companies and In Ministries that handle Billions of dollars, there is no talent that she brings on board that does not exist.Visa on arrival is not a green light to illegally work or overstay your visit! Matiangi was clear, for technical workers like teachers and accountants validly working in kenya, their employers will be compelled to sack them and employ kenyans otherwise, no work visa for them

If anything, they are just to empower one to explore potential strengths and then advance in a path you have a passion in. With disruptive technology like in the telcos,they're more inclined to harness potential brains that can match the trends and adept enough to stay the course . Ms Mulinge has earned her stripes in Safcom hence the confidence from her peers to steer Vodacom to greater heights!
