RIP Ali Mohammed Kibao.
Following this tragic death and the ensuing conversation, I am finding myself with a lot of questions.
What are the limits of diplomacy and civility?
Mbowe is catching a lof of flack for refraining public anger and letting Masauni speak at the Ali Mohammed Kibao funeral.
Is Mbowe unfairly criticized for demonstrating statesmanship, civility and diplomacy or fairly criticized for failing to seize the moment to ostracize and excommunicate the CCM ghouls and their enablers?
Are we going to bury the dead by political affiliation now? Is that necessary to drive some larger points home?
Should any of these politicos speak at these funerals? Can we avoid politics and still be authentic at such political funerals? Wo 't that amount to a form of self-censorship?
