Beautiful mosques /churches /temples / other places of worship also have fantastic architecture.
Some wealthy east africans have also built some fantastic homes. Public places e.g parks, amusement areas,

All that is architecture.

The grand Ghaddafi Mosque (renamed recently the Uganda National Mosque) It is the fifth largest mosque, and I think the it the largest place of worship in the entire East and Central Africa, with a capacity for close to 25, 000 worshippers. It is one of my favourite haunts whenever I am in Kampala. And it is like u can see the spire of this building from pretty much anywhere in Kampala.

Very refreshing indeed!KICC beats all African towers with its African touch, and this record is here to stay,AVIC,BRITAM,UAP,HASS,ABCORN are laced with modernity and not really with an African touch ....Nairobi on TOP OF AFRICA,We call it African rooftop!
