Ayew treble shoots Marseille to top spot

Winger Andre Ayew scored a hat trick and his younger brother Jordan Ayew got the other goal Wednesday as defending champion Marseille beat Nice 4-2 to move one point ahead of Lille at the top of the French league.

Andre Ayew put Marseille ahead in the 30th minute before Abdou Traore made it 1-1 in the 42nd. On the hour mark, Andre slid in to convert a cross from his younger brother, who pounced in the 78th to extend Marseille's lead.
Andre completed his first career hat trick in the 90th, before Renato Civelli scored a consolation.
''It's great for the Ayew brothers. We were a bit more used to Andre doing this, he has a lot of quality and still has that hunger,'' Marseille coach Didier Deschamps said. ''Jordan is younger but showed tonight that he has ability.''
Deschamps thought the score flattered his team, however.
''It was the kind of game where there were chances all over the place,'' Deschamps said. ''It wasn't all perfect but it's not often that we score four. After the efforts we put in during Saturday's final, I thought it would be a bit tough.''
In Wednesday's other match, France playmaker Yoann Gourcuff came off the bench to score Lyon's 90th-minute winner in a 3-2 home win over Montpellier that keeps alive the seven-time former champion's title hopes.
Lyon is five points behind Marseille in third place with six matches remaining.
The matches were rescheduled because of last weekend's League Cup final, which Marseille won 1-0 against Montpellier.
Having successfully retained the League Cup, Deschamps' team is now on course for another double.
Marseille is peaking at the right time - just like last season - while Lille is slipping up with just two points from its last three league games.
''We had to win at all costs tonight. It was really hard for us in the first half,'' Andre Ayew said. ''We have our destiny in our own hands now and we will have to win all our remaining matches, starting with Auxerre (on Sunday).''
With striker Loic Remy suspended, Deschamps played winger Mathieu Valbuena as a makeshift forward at Stade Velodrome, with Andre-Pierre Gignac and Andre Ayew either side of him.
Playmaker Lucho Gonazalez was on the bench after a poor run of form, and replaced in midfield by Fabrice Abriel.
Marseille opened the scoring after a glaring error from Nice goalkeeper David Ospina, who claimed Valbuena's corner from the left but then dropped the ball, and the 21-year-old Andre Ayew punished him.
Nice leveled close to halftime when Traore profited from a mix-up in Marseille's defense. Charles Kabore headed away a corner, but the ball bounced off fellow defender Souleymane Diawara's back and Traore made it 1-1.
Jordan, the younger of the Ayew brothers at 19, came off the bench to make it 3-1 when he easily beat Ospina, after Nice's defense failed to clear right-back Rod Fanni's cross.
''I came on and gave it everything,'' Jordan Ayew said. ''Hard work pays off and I will continue to work. My older brother helps me a lot.''
Fanni then burst down the right again and set up Andre to cap off his fine performance, and take his season's league tally to nine league goals.
Argentine defender Civelli grabbed a consolation goal for Nice against his former club.
At Stade Gerland, Lyon coach Claude Puel again started with Gourcuff and veteran Brazilian defender Cris on the bench, although both figured in the match.
Gourcuff made a crucial run to the far post to turn in Lisandro Lopez's headed pass with time running out.
Ederson had put Lyon ahead in the 23rd minute with his first goal of the season when he cut in from the left and hit a shot which goalkeeper Geoffrey Jourdren flapped at and fumbled.
Striker Olivier Giroud equalized for Montpellier shortly after with this 11th league goal of the season, expertly controlling a long clearance from defense with his chest and hitting a half-volley past goalie Hugo Lloris.
Cris came on after 10 minutes when captain Jeremy Toulalan limped off after hurting his left knee in a tackle.
Lopez scored from 10 yards out to make it 2-1 in the 55th after strike partner Bafetimbi Gomis beat two defenders and set him up for a simple finish. Lopez took his league tally to 15, matching his total from last season.
Souleymane Camara made it 2-2 in the 84th and missed a chance to make it 3-3 in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Lille coach Rudi Garcia believes the pressure remains on Marseille after the 1-1 draw at Lorient handed the champions the Ligue 1 initiative.
Mathieu Debuchy's strike against the run of play two minutes before half-time had looked set to give LOSC a four-point cushion at the summit, with OM due to play their game in hand at home to Nice on Wednesday.


However, Kevin Gameiro equalised midway through the second half at the Stade du Moustoir to leave Garcia's side with just a two-point advantage having picked up only two points from the last nine on offer.
"Our feeling is rather mixed," he told losc.fr. "This match, we could lose it if Micka [goalkeeper Mickael Landreau] had not made so many decisive stops in the first half.
"But, on the other hand, we can say that we could have won it in the final quarter of an hour.
"Anyway, a draw away from home is never a bad result, especially here. This point will count."
He continued: "We have no pressure. We said, and we repeat, OM have made greater strides than us in 2011. They remain favourites.
"From our side, we will continue to strive to remain at the top. We have seven games, that is to say as many finals. That is how we will address our future games until the end of the season."
On yesterday's game, he added: "There are still many positives - I think the solidarity and the desire of the players. They showed a lot of effort and kept their nerve. The confidence is there. We are now recovering well.

OL were not in action this weekend and will head into their game in hand - against Montpellier on Wednesday - seven points behind Lille after the leaders were held to a 1-1 draw at Lorient on Sunday night.
Second-placed Marseille can take over at the top if they beat Nice on Wednesday, but Puel does not think his team are out of it either.
Asked if the title was gone, he told Le Progres: "No. It depends on us. It will require an unwavering strength of character. If we have this mindset, we can be champions."
Les Gones slipped further off the pace eight days ago with a 1-0 defeat at Paris Saint-Germain.
Puel reckons his side are a match for anyone in the French top flight but admits their cutting edge may have deserted them at key moments.
He added: "When you see the match in Paris, one feels that we have potential. I have not seen a team in Ligue 1 who are greater than us.
"[But] if Marseille are not extraordinary in the game, they deliver at the crucial time - unlike us."

French league leader Lille had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Lorient on Sunday, extending its winless streak in the championship to three matches.
With six rounds remaining this season, Lille leads defending champion Marseille by two points but has played one more match. Marseille successfully defended its League Cup title with a 1-0 win over Montpellier in Saturday's final and can knock Lille off the top with a win against Nice on Wednesday.


Mathieu Debuchy put Lille ahead in the 41st minute against the run of the play, after its goalkeeper Mickael Landreau had made several decisive saves.
Kevin Gameiro leveled for Lorient in the 67th before Lille midfielder Eden Hazard hit the post five minutes from the end.
"I have mixed feelings. We could have lost this match but Mickael Landreau made the saves we needed in the first half," Lille coach Rudi Garcia said. "And we could also have won it in the last 15 minutes. But we lost possession a lot and we failed collectively."
Paris Saint-Germain's hopes of winning the French league were meanwhile dealt a blow with a 2-2 draw at Brest. PSG missed the opportunity to win a third straight game for the first time this season and remained fourth in the standings behind Lyon, which hosts Montpellier on Wednesday.
Both Lyon and PSG trail Lille by seven points but third-placed Lyon has a better goal difference.
Also Sunday, it was: Auxerre 1, Lens 1; Bordeaux 2, Saint-Etienne 0; Caen 1, Toulouse 1; Monaco 1, Rennes 0; Nancy 0, Arles 0; and Valenciennes 1, Sochaux 1.
Lille got off to a slow start and nearly paid the price in the 11th minute when Gameiro got behind its defenders and hit the post with a right-footed shot.
Lorient midfielder Arnold Mvuemba tried his luck from long range after France defender Adil Rami lost the ball in his own half, forcing Landreau to make a good diving save to his left.

Landreau was decisive again in the 27th minute when he parried a deflected shot from Gameiro before a strike from Francis Coquelin was blocked on the line by defender Aurelien Chedjou.
A turning point came in the 41st minute when Gameiro lost a one-on-one with Landreau, just seconds before Debuchy broke the deadlock by steering home Moussa Sow's cross at the far post.
Lorient kept pushing forward in the second half and its fighting spirit finally brought an equalizer in the 67th minute when Gameiro played a one-two with Amalfitano and fired home a volley from close range.
However, Lille nearly grabbed a late winner following a quickly-taken free kick, when Hazard found himself in a good position but saw his low shot from a tight angle hit the right-hand post.
At Brest, the home side created several half-chances in the early stages before Mathieu Bodmer put PSG ahead with a 20-meter free kick in the 20th minute.
Jeremy Clement came close to adding a second goal four minutes later when he forced Brest goalkeeper Steeve Elana into a superb save with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.
Dominating possession, PSG was again a threat in the next minute when defender Siaka Tiene tried his luck from a tight angle only to see Elana deny him.
But Antoine Kombouare's team was dealt a blow in the 34th minute when former France goalkeeper Gregory Coupet sustained what seemed to be a back injury and was replaced by Apoula Edel.
Edel immediately conceded a penalty for a clumsy foul on Larsen Toure. Edel parried away Bruno Grougi's spot-kick but Toure scored from the rebound to level in the 37th minute.
PSG coach Antoine Kombouare criticized Edel for his blunder.
"Replacing Greg (Coupet) hurt us because we conceded two goals in the first half," Kombouare said. "Edel's mistake shouldn't have happened. But he had just came in without warming up. I was hoping my players would help him get into the match, but we were below par in defense."
Brest took the lead in stoppage time before the break following a swift counterattack concluded by Grougi, who latched onto Toure's cross to slip the ball between Edel's legs.
Brest could have moved further in front as Edel looked hesitant again in the 49th minute and didn't go for the ball after Nolan Roux crossed into the box. However, the PSG 'keeper was lucky enough to see midfielder Benoit Lemoisier's header flying just wide.
PSG's efforts were finally rewarded in the 87th when France striker Guillaume Hoarau surged between two defenders and headed a cross from the left - only for defender Ahmed Kantari to score with a handball in the confusion.
Bordeaux - which has dropped 24 points at home this season - claimed its first victory in six matches with goals from Jaroslav Plasil and Cheick Tidiane Diabate.

KLABU ya African Lyon iimendelea kuitingisha Simba baada ya kuanza mikakati ya kumchukua kocha wa zamani wa timu ya Taifa ya Zambia, 'Chipolopolo' na Simba, Patrick Phiri kwa ajili ya msimu ujao wa Ligi Kuu Tanzania Bara.

Msemaji wa timu hiyo, Sherally Abdallah alisema jana kuwa wameanza mazungumzo na kocha huyo na sasa yanaendelea vizuri, ikiwa ni wiki moja tangu Simba walipotangaza kumtema Mzambia huyo na kumpa nafasi yake Mganda, Moses Basena.

Abdallah alisema kuwa mmoja wa maofisa wao wa ngazi ya juu wa timu hiyo anatarajiwa kuondoka wiki ijayo kwenda Zambia kukamilisha suala hilo ikiwa ni pamoja na kuingia mkataba naye ili aweze kurudi nchini na kuifundisha timu hiyo.

Alisema kuwa Phiri ni miongoni mwa makocha bora wa bara la Afrika mwenye msimamo kwenye kazi yake na kuahidi kutomuingilia katika kazi hiyo kwa mujibu wa sheria na kanuni za FIFA na kanuni za Shirikisho la Kandanda nchini (TFF).

"Klabu yetu inaendeshwa na watu wenye ueledi, sisi ni timu tofauti kabisa na Phiri atakuwa huru kufanya kazi yake bila kuingiliwa na mtu yeyote, tunataka kuwa timu yenye mfano bora na yenye maendeleo makubwa," alisema Abdallah.

Alisema lengo lao kubwa ni kuona timu yao inatwaa ubingwa na kazi kubwa ya Phiri itakuwa kufanya usajili na kuweka programu ya mazoezi kabla ya kuanza kwa msimu.

"Ndiyo kwanza kwa sasa tunaanza kazi, tunajua wapi tulikosea na nini cha kufanya, tutafanya usajili wa maana sana na wachezaji chipukizi wenye mtazamo wa maendeleo na wala si vinginevyo,"alisema Abdallah.

Phiri aliingia kwa mara ya kwanza nchini mwaka 2003 na akiwa na Simba alifanikiwa kuipa mataji mengi pamoja na msimu wa 2009/10, alipoiwezesha timu hiyo kutwaa ubingwa wa ligi bila ya kupoteza mechi yoyote.

Wakati huo huo; Sosthenes Nyoni anaripoti kuwa Shirikisho la Soka Tanzania(TFF) limeikata klabu ya African Lyon ieleze ukweli katika kile inachoidai Simba badala ya kung'ang'ania mshambuliaji Mbwana Samata ni mali yao.

Hatua ya Lyon kudai Samata ni mali yao ilikuja baada ya Simba kutangaza kumuuza nyota huyo kwa mabingwa mara mbili wa Ligi ya Mabingwa Afrika, TP Mazembe kwa kiasi cha dola 100,000.

Katibu Mkuu wa TFF, Angetile Osiah alisema jijini Dar es Salaam jana kuwa kimsingi madai ya African Lyon yanahusiana na kutolipwa sehemu ya fedha za usajili wa Samata hivyo hayatakiwi kuhusishwa na taratibu za usajili wake kwenda Simba.

"Ni vizuri African Lyon wakawa wa kweli, unajua imefika wakati watu wanafikiri TFF inahusika, Samata aliamishwa kutoka kwao kihalali kwa mujibu wa vielelezo tulivyonavyo hivyo kama kuna fedha ambazo wao hawajalipwa hilo ni suala jingine.

"Mfano kuna wachezaji wakubwa tu duniani kama Kaka na Ronaldo hawa hadi leo fedha yao ya usajili haijalipwa yote hayo ni masuala ya kawaida,"alisema Osiah.

Alisema kuwa madai ya African Lyon yangeweza kuwa na maana zaidi kama yangewasilishwa kama malalamiko ya kutolipwa fedha zao na Simba kama walivyokubaliana, lakini sio kwa kudai Samata sio mali ya Simba.

" TFF inaweza kusikiliza madai yao na kuyapatia ufumbuzi hata kama wamedhulumiwa fedha zao kama walikubaliana na Simba, lakini wakisema usajili Samata kwenda Simba sio halali maana yake sisi ndio tumekosea, hilo sio kweli,"alisema Osiah.

UONGOZI wa Klabu ya Yanga, umepanga kusajili wachezaji watatu pekee wa kimataifa kutoka nchi za Uganda na Ghana.Katika wachezaji hao mmoja atatoka Ghana na
wengine wawili wanatokea nchini Uganda.

Hata hivyo tayari wachezaji mbalimbali kutoka nchini Zambia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Cameroon na Ghana wameanza kutuma maombi katika klabu hiyo, kutaka kufanyiwa majaribio.

Akizungumza Dar es Salaam jana mmoja wa viongozi wa Yanga, ambaye hakutaka kuandikwa jina lake gazetini kwa madai kuwa si msemaji wa mambo ya usajili, alisema uongozi wa klabu hiyo umepanga kusajili wachezaji watatu pekee wa kimataifa kwa kuwa kwa sasa wana wawili.

"Nafasi zilizobaki ni za wachezaji watatu tu na tumelenga kusajili Waganda wawili na Mghana mmoja, ili kukamilisha idadi ya wachezaji watano wa kimataifa," alisema kiongozi huyo.

Alisema wachezaji waliokuwepo awali katika timu hiyo, kipa namba mbili Mserbia Ivan Knezevic na Waghana wawili Isaack Boakye na Ernest Boakye uongozi hauna mpango wa kuwaongezea mikataba mipya.

Kiongozi huyo lisema kwa sasa klabu hiyo ina wachezaji wawili wa kimataifa, kipa namba moja Yaw Berko na mshambuliaji kutoka Zambia, Davies Mwape.

Alisema kocha Sam Timbe, atakapokuja nchini ndiye atakayekamilisha taratibu zote za usajili, baada ya Kamati ya Usajili ya klabu hiyo kumaliza mchakato wake.

Filamu zilizozuiwa kuonyeshwa hadharani na kwenye vyombo vya usafiri ni Filamu ya Mtoto wa Mama, Inye, inye Plus, Inye Ndembendembe na Inye Gwedegwede kwa mujibu wa taarifa ilyotolewa jana na bodi ya ukaguzi wa Filamu na michezo ya kuigiza hapa nchini.

Taarifa hiyo ilieleza kuwa Sababu za kukataliwa ni pamoja na filamu hizo kutokuwa na maudhui na maadili ya Kitanzania.

Taarifa hiyo ilifafanua kuwa Filamu hizo zinaonyesha vitendo vya Ushoga sambamba na kudhalilisha wanawake hasa wanene kwa kugeuza miondoko yao ambayo inaamsha hisia za kingono.

"Filamu ya Mtoto wa Mama ni ya daraja ‘R' yaani hairuhusiwi kuonyeshwa mahali popote na wakati wowote nchini Tanzania kwani inaonyesha vijana wa kiume wanaovaa na kuishi maisha ya kike (mashoga).

"Muonekano halisi wa kasha, matangazo na filamu yenyewe viliwasilishwa Aprili 27 na vimeridhiwa na Wizara, filamu hiyo sasa inafaa kuangaliwa na watu wazima kuanzia miaka 18 na kuendelea,"ilieleza taarifa ya Bodi.

Taarifa hiyo pia ilieleza,"Marekebisho yaliyofanyika katika filamu hiyo ni pamoja na kipande cha bafuni kilichokuwa kikionyesha mashoga wakiwa wanaoga."

"Maneno makali yaliyotamkwa kiuhalisia yalitakiwa kutafutiwa maneno mbadala pia jina la filamu (Shoga) lilitakiwa kubadilishwa kwa kuwa halikuwa linaendana na maadili ya Kitanzania," ilieleza taarifa hiyo.

Taarifa hiyo ilieleza kuwa filamu hiyo ilifungiwa hapo awali kwa kuwa haikuendana na maadili ya kitanzania kwa mujibu wa Sheria ya Filamu na Michezo ya kuigiza Na 4 ya mwaka 1976 na kutozingatia hatua za utengenezaji.

"Mtengenezaji haruhusiwi kuongeza wala kupunguza jambo katika marekebisho yaliyoridhiwa kama inavyoelekezwa katika Sheria 4/76 kifungu cha 19(2) a-b," ilifafanua taarifa hiyo.

Bodi hiyo ilisisitiza watunzi na watengenezaji wa filamu kuacha kutengeneza filamu bila kuwa na kibali cha Waziri mwenye dhamana ya masuala yanayohusu filamu na michezo ya kuigiza na kutoonyeha filamu yoyote bila kukaguliwa na kupewa daraja.

KOCHA Mkuu wa timu ya taifa ya vijana 'Vijana Stars' Jamhuri Kihwelu 'Julio' amewaomba mashabiki wa soka nchini kujitokeza kwa wingi kuishangilia timu hiyo, itakapocheza
na Uganda kesho katika Uwanja wa Taifa, Dar es Salaam.

Vijana Stars itamenyana na Uganda 'The Cobs' mchezo wa marudiano wa kuwania kufuzu fainali za Mataifa ya Afrika 'All African Games', baada ya mchezo wa awali kufungwa mabao 2-1 ugenini.

Akizungumza Dar es Salaam jana, Julio alisema kikosi chake kinaendelea vyema na maandalizi pamoja na kufanyia kazi upungufu uliojitokeza katika mechi ya awali.

Alisema ana uhakika wa kulipa kisasi kwa The Cobs, kutokana kugundua mbinu zao uwanjani baada ya kufanya mazoezo mazuri.

"Kwanza namshukuru Mungu na pia nawashukuru wachezaji wangu kwa kunielewa katika kipindi hiki cha maandalizi, kutokana na ari waliyoionesha tutashinda kwa sababu tunawafahamu wapinzani wetu na tunaowaomba mashabiki waje kwa wingi uwanjani," alisema Julio.

Alisema kutokana na maandalizi hayo watahakikisha wanaibuka na ushindi, lakini kazi itakua nyepesi kwao kama mashabiki watafurika kwa wingi uwanjani kesho na kuwashangilia kwa nguvu.

Naye Ofisa Habari wa Shirikisho la Mpira wa Miguu Tanzania (TFF), Boniface Wambura alisema jana kuwa Uganda imewasili nchini jana saa 10.30 jioni, ikiwa chini ya Ofisa wa Shirikisho la Vyama vya Soka Uganda (FUFA), Sam Lwere.

Alisema mchezo huo utachezeshwa na waamuzi raia wa Burundi, Athanase Niyongabo, Jean Itakizimana, Felix Bazubwabo na mwamuzi wa akiba Ramadhani Ibada pamoja na Kamishna, Gspard Kaipuke ambao wamewasili jijini jana saa 11 jioni.

MAKAMU wa Pili wa Rais wa Zanzibar, Balozi Seif Halid anatarajia kuwa mgeni rasmi katika sherehe za ufunguzi wa mashindano ya netiboli kwa nchi za Afrika Mashariki
yanayozinduliwa leo mjini Zanzibar.

Akizungumza kwa simu jana, Katibu Mkuu wa Chama cha Netiboli Zanzibar (CHANEZA), Rahma Bakari alisema mashindano hayo yatafunguliwa saa 9 alasiri na kiongozi huyo.

Alisema mara baada ya mashindano hayo kufunguliwa kutafanyika mechi ya ufunguzi kati ya mabingwa watetezi wa kombe hilo, NIC ya Uganda na timu wenyeji ya Mafunzo.

"Maandalizi yote ya mashindano haya yamekamilika na timu zote zimeshawasili na nyingine zinatarajia kuwasili leo jioni (jana jioni), hivyo tunawaomba wakazi wa Zanzibar kufika kwa wingi ili kushuhudia uzinduzi wa mashindano haya," alisema Rahma.

Timu zinazoshiriki mashindano haya ni kutoka Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania Bara, Zanzibar na Zambia ambayo inashiriki kama timu ya mualikwa ambapo jumla ya timu hizo ni 17 za wanawake na wanaume.

Rahma alisema mashindano hayo yanatarajia kumalizika Mei 4, mwaka huu na kumpata bingwa wa mpya wa Afrika Mashariki wa netiboli ambapo Uganda inatetea taji hilo.

MASHINDANO ya Mei Mosi yanatarajia kufikia tamati leo baada ya kumalizika kwa michezo tofauti ya fainali kwenye uwanja wa Jamhuri mjini Morogoro.

Akizungumza na Mwananchi, Katibu wa Kamati ya Michezo ya Mei Mosi Taifa, Award Safari alisema mashindano ya Mei Mosi mwaka 2011 yanatarajiwa kufika tamati baada ya kumalizika kwa michezo mitatu tofauti baada ya timu za michezo hiyo kufanikiwa kuingia hatua ya kucheza fainali.

Safari alitaja timu za soka zilizofanikiwa kuingia hatua ya kucheza fainali baada ya kushinda michezo yao ya nusu fainali kuwa ni timu ya Ulinzi Sport Club iliyoingia fainali baada ya kuifunga timu ya Idara ya Polisi kwa mikwaju ya penati 5-4 kufuatia kumalizika kwa dakika 120 za mchezo zikiwa hazijafungana katika dakika za kawaida.

Timu nyingine ni Tumbaku Fc ambayo ilifanikiwa kucheza fainali baada ya kuitandika timu ya Alliance katika mchezo wa nusu fainali kwa bao 4-1.
Kwa upande wa mchezo wa netiboli timu ya Idara ya Polisi ilifanikiwa kucheza fainali baada ya kushinda mabao 48-47 dhidi ya mahasimu wao wakubwa katika mchezo huo timu ya Mambo ya Ndani. Awali pambano lilimalizika kwa sare ya 37-37 na hivyo kuongezwa dakika saba ili mshindi apatikane.

Aidha Safari alieleza kuwa katika mchezo wa kuvuta kamba kwa wanaume timu ya Mahakama ilifakikiwa kutinga fainali ambapo itachuana na timu ya Uchukuzi baada ya kuishinda Hazina 2-0 huku timu ya Uchukuzi nayo ikiwatoa timu ya Idara ya Polisi kwa 2-0.

UAMUZI wa uongozi wa Simba wa kuwakata mishahara wachezaji wake Mussa Hassan Mgosi na Kelvin Yondan umewafanya wachezaji wengine wa timu hiyo kugeuka mabubu na kuvikimbia vyombo vya habari.

MCHEZA tenisi wa Tanzania, Emmanuel Nikodem ameibuka kinara katika mashindano ya Tenisi ya watoto chini ya miaka 12 na 14 yaliyomalizika jana kwenye Uwanja wa Klabu ya Nairobi nchini Kenya.

Nikodem aliyekuwa akiiwakilisha Tanzania kwa upande wa watoto chini ya miaka 12 ametwaa ubingwa huo kwa seti 2-1 dhidi ya mpinzani wake kutoka Zimbabwe.

Nikodem aliyeanza vema katika hatua ya makundi, robo fainali na nusu fainali, alitinga kwenye fainali iliyofanyika juzi kwa watoto chini ya miaka 12 na kuibuka Mtanzania pekeealiyetwaa ushindi katika mashindano hayo yaliyoanza kutimua vumbi Aprili 19.

Kocha wa mchezo huo wa Klabu ya Gymkhana, Salum Mvita, alisema mbali na ushindi huo, watoto wengine saba wa Tanzania wameshindwa kung'ara katika mashindano hayo makubwa kwa watoto.

Alisema wachezaji Sarah Bura, Edina John, Zuhura Baraka, Zuhura Isiaka na Frank Bernad walitolewa katika robo fainali huku John Njau akifanikiwa kutinga nusu fainali, lakini alishindwa kufurukuta na kutolewa na mchezaji kutoka Kenya.

"Mchezaji mwingine wa Tanzania aliyetolewa ni Martin Jonas ambaye alitolewa katika hatua ya makundi, tunashukuru kwa ushindi wa Nikodem umeweza kututoa kimasomaso nchini Kenya," alisema Mvita.

Mashindano hayo yalishirikisha watoto mbalimbali kutoka nchi za Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Namibia na Tanzania ikiwa ni kwa ajili ya kuangalia viwango vya watoto wa mchezo huo Afrika Mashariki.

KOCHA wa Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho amelilaumu Shirikisho la Soka Barani Ulaya UEFA, marefa wake na kocha Pep Guardiola baada ya timu yake kufungwa mabao 2-0 na Barcelona katika mechi ya nusu fainali ya ligi ya mabingwa Ulaya, ambapo kichapo hicho kimeiweka Madrid katika hatihati ya kushindwa kuutafuta ubingwa wa Ulaya.

Katika mechi ya juzi ya Ligi ya Mabingwa wa Ulaya, Mourinho alishuhudia timu yake ikicheza pungufu baada ya mchezaji wake Pepe kupewa kadi nyekundu katika dakika ya 61.

Baada ya Pepe kutolewa, katika dakika 15 za mwisho Lionel Messi aliweza kufunga mabao mawili na hivyo kuiweka Barcelona katika nafasi nzuri wakati timu hizo zitakaporudiana wiki ijayo kwenye uwanja wa Camp Nou.

Akizungumzia pambano hilo Mourinho alisema njama za Barcelona na UEFA zinatakiwa zimalizwe haraka kwa sababu Barcelona inakuwa inapendelewa na waamuzi ambao wanapangwa na UEFA.

KOCHA Mkuu wa Fulham, Mark Hughes amefurahishwa na ushindi iliopata timu yake baada ya kuichapa Bolton mabao 3-0 katika mechi ya Ligi Kuu England.

Katika mechi hiyo, Clint Dempsey alifunga mabao mawili na Brede Hangeland aliongeza lingine na kuiweka Fulham katika nafasi ya tisa katika msimamo wa ligi.

"Tulipoanza pambano nilifahamu tunakabiliana na Bolton vizuri katika suala la nguvu, ambapo tulicheza soka zuri na soka la kiwango cha juu, tumefurahishwa sana na matokeo ya mechi hii,"alisema Hughes.

Kwa upande wa kocha wa Bolton, Owen Coyle ambaye alioneshwa kukasirishwa na matokeo aliyoyapata alisema,NI wazi nimesikitishwa sana, tulikuja hapa kucheza soka ili tuweze kuondoka na pointi tatu,"alisema Coyle.

"Tulianza mechi vizuri katika kipindi cha kwanza na tulitengeneza nafasi nyingi za kufunga mabao, lakini hatukuzitumia vizuri, tulitakiwa kushinda, lakini hatukutumia nafasi tulizopata,"alisema Coyle.

"Fulham walitumia nafasi walizopata kwa sababu wanao wachezaji wenye vipaji binafsi na pia ni timu nzuri, nimesikitishwa sana na wachezaji wangu kushindwa kutumia nafasi walizopata kufunga mabao, lakini ninaamini Bolton ni timu bora kuliko Fulham,"alisema Coyle.

Carlo Ancelotti has denied it would be a gamble to pair Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba in Chelsea's must-win game against Tottenham.
Blues boss Ancelotti has spent this week attempting to devise a way of getting both of his star strikers into his starting line-up, despite their failure to forge an understanding since Torres' £50million transfer from Liverpool.
The duo have started just three of 14 possible matches together and Ancelotti appeared to abandon their partnership earlier this month when he reverted from a 4-4-2 to a 4-3-3 formation, a move which has coincided with Chelsea rediscovering their best form and has been backed by more than one player.

With the champions needing to beat Spurs to keep alive their slim hopes of retaining the title - something which could also save Ancelotti's job - any significant changes to personnel and tactics would appear to represent an unnecessary risk.
But Ancelotti was adamant it was worth trying to get Torres working with Drogba after watching the Spain star finally end his long goal drought against West Ham on Saturday.
"When you have very good players, you've have to try to put them together," he said.
"Maybe they can sacrifice something of their ability, of their skills, but they can play together.
"If you are able to do this, I think it is good for the team, to get good results.
"Obviously, it's too early to take a decision about this because we have another training session on Friday.
"But I think it will not be a surprise if they can start on Saturday together."
Asked how it had gone in training between the two of them, Ancelotti joked: "Ah, disaster! If they didn't train well, obviously I'm not here to mention this!
"Seriously, they trained well. They tried to have a good combination together."
Insisting their teamwork had improved, Ancelotti confirmed he would revert to a 4-4-2 if he opted to play both on Saturday.
"The best solution would be to play 4-4-2 if they play together," he said.
"I think that we don't have a problem to play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.
"The result doesn't depend on the shape that you use.
"The result depends on the motivation that the players have, on the spirit that the players use on the pitch during the game."
Ancelotti's players might not agree and he revealed he would take into account any objections they had but warned the final decision lay with him.
"I'm not a dictator," he said.
"If they want to have an opinion, they can speak, obviously."
He added: "Maybe sometimes I ask the players if they are comfortable to play 4-3-3 or 4-4-2."
Ancelotti reported a clean bill of health for Saturday's game, despite there having been real concerns over the fitness of midfielders Michael Essien and Ramires.
Neither was able to train with the first team for the first half of the week but their manager said: "Now they are ready, they are fit."
Chelsea's hopes of overhauling Manchester United's six-point lead in the title race appeared to suffer a setback this week after Sir Alex Ferguson's men won the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Schalke 2-0.
That gives United an opportunity to rest players for next week's second leg ahead of their Old Trafford clash with Ancelotti's men.
But the Chelsea boss welcomed their likely progress to the Wembley final and insisted he would prefer to face them when they are at full strength.
He said of Tuesday's game: "I was happy because I think the result was right.
"Manchester played a fantastic game. They deserved to win."
He added: "I would like to play against the best team, Man United, and we are able to win and we deserve to win.
"I hope that Manchester will reach the final and they will play against us with the best team."

Manchester United's match against Arsenal on Sunday could still be hugely influential in the outcome of the Premier League title race if Chelsea maintains its recent good form this weekend.
If the Blues beat Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, the defending champions will be just three points behind United by the time the league leader plays at Emirates Stadium.

Tottenham is fighting for Champions League qualification and also needs the points, so Chelsea is far from certain to be in a position to put that pressure back on United.
"We have to do our job and that's to win against Tottenham," Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti said. "It will not be easy because Tottenham are a very strong team but we have to keep it open in the Premier League until the last minute."
Ancelotti has a full squad to choose from, with Michael Essien fit following a knee injury and Ramires recovered from a hamstring problem that ruled him out of the last three matches - all of which Chelsea has won by scoring three goals.
Central defender Alex is also fit again following three games on the sidelines with a similar injury.
Chelsea is six points behind United with four games remaining and still has to play United, which is aiming for a record 19th English championship.
Tottenham is four points behind Manchester City, which occupies fourth place and the last of the Champions League qualifying berths.
"Tottenham are involved in a fight for fourth place and they will try to do everything against us because they have a chance to close the gap with Manchester City," Ancelotti said. "Maybe they will use this game to improve their season."
Spurs reached the Champions League quarterfinals in its debut season in the competition, but its chances of a second-straight top-four finish have been hit by consecutive draws against Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion.
"If we lose to Chelsea, and City win their next two games, it will be virtually impossible," Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone said. "We have still got games to play though, so as long as it's possible then we won't give up."
Spurs have lost just one of their past seven meetings with Chelsea but have not won at Stamford Bridge since 1990.
"Two months ago, everyone was looking at these matches as league deciders - and they probably are," United manager Alex Ferguson said. "But we are going into them in good form so why can we not win them?
"Teams are going to drop points on the run-in, including Chelsea."
United, which has won the last four games of its seven-match unbeaten streak against Arsenal, can call upon Dimitar Berbatov, who returns after three games out with a groin injury.
"Hopefully we get to a point where we need to win our last home game - against Blackpool - to win the league," Ferguson said. "I would take that."
Also Sunday, Liverpool hosts Newcastle, Manchester City hosts West Ham, and Birmingham hosts Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On Saturday, Blackburn hosts Bolton, Blackpool hosts Stoke, Sunderland hosts Fulham, West Brom hosts Aston Villa, and Wigan hosts Everton.

Dimitar Berbatov will return to the Manchester United squad for Sunday's crucial Premier League trip to Arsenal having 'trained all week'.
The Bulgarian has missed three games with a groin injury sustained in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City earlier this month.

However, he is available now as United chase the victory which would end Arsenal's flickering title challenge.
"Dimitar is fit again," said manager Sir Alex Ferguson. "He had a slight groin strain but he has trained all week."
In addition, Ferguson reported midfielder Darren Fletcher had come through a 45-minute reserve team appearance without a problem last night and is now in line to play some part in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final decider with Schalke at Old Trafford.
"Darren came through last night fine," said Ferguson. "He is progressing and it is possible we could include him on Wednesday for another 45 minutes.
"It is good that he is back. He has put his weight back on. He has worked hard in the gym. He is a great addition to the squad."
United have always known the next two weeks will determine their fate this season.
With Chelsea due to visit Old Trafford next week, the Red Devils are anxious to avoid having their lead cut to three points on Sunday, although Ferguson is quite happy with the present situation.
"Two months ago, everyone was looking at these matches as league deciders - and they probably are," he said.
"But we are going into them in good form so why can we not win them?
"Teams are going to drop points on the run-in, including Chelsea.
"Hopefully we get to a point where we need to win our last home game - against Blackpool - to win the league. I would take that."
