The Cabinet Secretary has written a letter to Energy Regulatory Commissions, Customs and Kenya Bureau of Standards and designated Mombasa as the only point of import for LPG. So if you want to play in this game, come and invest in Kenya, import through Mombasa and then we can now follow up who is supplying unlicensed dealers. But now this whole thing about Tanzania is a thing of the past,” Mr Kamau then said at a briefing for oil marketing companies.

Why should we??We discovered our own a couple of years ago and when we wanted to import it would have come from Qatar.
Tanzanian LPG comes from Zambia. It always has.

trade balance comparison was to be between a pair of countries, not the total volume of trade with the rest of the world, and not between Uganda and Kenya, or Rwanda, Burundi... but rather Uganda and Tanzania. Your statistical illustration above is a bizarre. Get it together.

second, Tanzania does not want to joint the EAC line hook and sinker because we have the most to lose than gain in this ridiculous project if we are not careful.

We do not want to remove a hard boarder with the rest of the circling vultures!

We do not want a customs union and we don't have it, thank God!

We do not want free movement of goods and labor, the EAC passport is a worthless charade, and we all know it. That's why we tore up the Visa application of the Vodacom CEO that even the Kenyans rejected when Safaricom had a vacancy, and of course, incinerated the chicken imports

And as far as the proposed POLITICAL UNION, they can go shove it up their rapacious, dictatorial, rear ends.

We couldn't be louder and clearer: WE, THE PEOPLE IN TANZANIA, DO NOT WANT THE DREADFUL EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY!

You do realise Kenya produces nearly 4 times more Maize than Tanzania.We import maize from Tanzania, Only around 1.5 million bags.
Tanzania produced 15 million bags of maize in 2018 and used around 13 million bags.Having a surplus of 2 million bags approx
Kenya produced 44 million bags in 2018 and imported 47 million bags.
How are you feeding us again??? Even if Tanzania sent ALL of its maize production to Kenya, it would not meet our demand, let alone the 1 million bags we import from you.
Please, educate yourself before you spew nonsense.
We simply consume more calories than you do and we use Maize for other things other than eating.
