rnrnHoly ----, I just found out from my step mom that Cousin Mimi n moms cousin dated my dad in between the break up of my parents marriage and his meeting stepmom. My dad died over 2 decades ago and last night after I found out, I had a nightmare he died again. If he were alive, Id be asking him some questions. rnrnOh & eewwwwwrnrnBut I think it helps me understand why she targeted me for her sniping, etc. I look a lot like my dad and have aspects of his personality. rnrnNot surprisingly, she didnt want to break up and threatened to tell my mom and us theyd been seeing each other. rnrnI dont know why but Im kind of freaked out by this. My therapist pretty much has lifetime job security with my family. rnrnIm so glad I finally put some distance in between me and the crazy.rnrnAnd while Im no fan of my mom, what about loyalty? Nmom and Mimi are the same age and my grandmother and nmom and my aunts even lived with Mimis family for awhile during one of the splits between my grandparents. I just cant see dating any of my cousins exes. Not even the ones Im not close too. And certainly not the one I feel is like my sister. I mean, we live in a large metro area where there are plenty of people to meet who werent married to a relative What the hell were the both of them thinking?rnrnAnd the thought of Mimi nearly ending up as my stepmom?
