Unamaanisha wazee walikaa chini wakaamua Tanzanian Swahili ndio pekee itambuliwe?
Washindwe hao wazee.
Sisi kizazi kipya we decide our destiny.
Even England thought they are the custodians of the English language, until the rest of the world started adopting American English words, phrases, terms, slang etc.
Swahili is artificially Kenya's National language. U can't deny that..Maana kuu ya lugha ni kuelewana.
Kile Kiswahili mnasema tumeharibu, bora sisi tunaelewana.
Lugha zetu za taifa ni English na Kiswahili. As long as we understand the message passed along, we're good.
so what... who cares? what will speaking good Swahili get you? Kenyans are more of English speakers, vernacular and sheng'...Swahili from the coast....
East African Swahili Council approved Tanzanian Swahili as standard n since the most advanced there is no chance to avoid the Tanzanian Swahili!

To not waste time may be u should find the derivative of that Swahili u had to pass at std 8 or that media use on your swahili stations including programs like jicho pevu. That's a standardized swahili of which with the exception of guys from Mombasa, very few of you can speak.. uache upumbavu! A reason u live Diamond as that sheng thing ur musicians sing can't sell. Sautsol n the likes of Gilad n Bahati n Paul have learnt that a reason they doing good.wait, what??? ati there's no chance to avoid what?? heheheheh you are high on some next level sh#t man. from a personal point of view, in all my 30+ years here on earth i have never been called upon to speak Tanzanian swahili as though some major event in my life depended on it. Amusingly, I have never even needed to avoid it, because it's not even in my immediate environment to start with. Yes it's that irrelevant. It's like demanding an American to speak British English when all within his immediate locality basically understand and speak his American English.

But always have to be approved by the East African Swahili Council n not some idiots in Kibera!Sheng ni slang. The same way kuna slang huko US but haitumiki kwa maandishi rasmi.
But once in a while sheng words are picked up and integrated into the main language.

So u mean American English speaker can not understand British English speaker? Why r u people even daring to compare American English to sheng? R u out of ur mind? Then write ur magazines in sheng n see how they will sell..to me most of u r sheng speakers claiming to speak Swahili.hehehehehe again, the day i will be required to speak your language or I die, that's the day it will be relevant. You make no sense at all. Look at CNN, they speak good English for an American audience that speaks American English (Black American slang notwithstanding) but does it affect anyone. Point is this, find better things to do with your life and stop this pettiness. I will never speak your language. I love my Sheng'. I am thoroughly proud of it. GTFO!!!

Swahili as a language has class n respect that unfortunately u can't comprehend with. A reason u have never mastered the language just like most of u in here. Mind u, Zuma, Museveni, Ethiopian PM and Kagame signed agreements to hire Tanzanian n not Kenyan Swahili teachers to teach at their schools back home. Until u understand why u keep arguing in here.
But it depends which CNN your talking about if is local US CNN yes, but CNN international they have English anchor from all corners of the world and each speaks with there natural accents.hehehehehe again, the day i will be required to speak your language or I die, that's the day it will be relevant. As for you, you'll rather die than speaking kiswahili, I'm not sure you'll hold your stance with a gun pointed on your head or your child's head and someone is shouting at you in kiswahili. I think you'll speak each and every kiswahili word fluently.[/QUOTE
heheheh so accent equals the language. so if i spoke swahili mufti with my kenyan accent, my swahili would not be correct?? you have no clue what you are saying. Mwanzo, get this in your head we have our own language, Sheng. We love it. If it kills you that much. See a shrink.

hata huyu mtanzania hapa chini hajui kingereza lakini siku si nyingi mtaanza kupanga foleni katika fuel station zake ili mjaze mafuta katika matatu na bodaboda "zenyu".[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji116] [emoji116] [emoji116] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]hehehe what are all these for??
We r not talking of accent we talk of swahili n sheng. What u speak in the street of Nairobi is not Swahili a reason sheng word was given to that form of communication. You can' the compare sheng to CNN America English. Ur tribal dialect sheng is no way near to swahili either.Your talking this and I'm taking that, you said CNN anchor used official America English rather than black America slang. And I told you CNN international they've very seed of this world from Australians to Argentina to Hong Kong to UK to US itself. They all use there our accent so what does that have to do with you speaking kiswahili with Kenyan accent.
As for you being prepared to die instead of speaking kiswahili, I think you haven't come across the situation where kiswahili is the only tool you've to take you out of harms way. If the time comes and your in that situation, you'll sing like canary in kiswahili
