Hivi nchi kama Zimbabwe zimewekewa vikwazo vya kiuchumi kwa sababu gani?... Je hivi kweli hao walioweka vikwazo hawafahamu umuhimu wa mazao ya Zimbabwe! ubora na urahisi wake...Haya tazameni Libya, Iraq, Iran na nchi nyinginezo kwa nini kumekuwepo vikwazo...
Nadhani ombi la Lunyungu msilitame kwa jicho la kimaskini, mtashindwa kuona ndani zaidi...Nitawaomba tena jaribuni kufikiri nje ya kabati (box)..

Watanzania kama nyinyi kwanini msiseme ukweli tu kuwa mkishapenda kitu hata kama kina madhara na mkajua ukweli hamkiachi!!! Ila mnatafuta sababu za kuhalisha kupenda kwenu.Ungekuja hapa ukasema jamani namba yangu hii ya Voda ndo inayofahamika na jamaa zangu wengi au wateja sasa itakuwa vigumu kuibadilisha.
Ndo haya tunayoyaona kwa JK anajua wezi kakalia kuunda vijikamati.

Unajua hata majambazi na wala rushwa na wezi wa mali za Watanzania ndo wachangiaji wakubwa wa sadaka makanisani, na shughuli zingine. Sababu hiyo haimfanyi mwizi anayekuibia mali yako then anakuuzia wewe mwenyewe kwa bei ya kutupa, awe msamalia mwema.

Watanzania sisi ni maarufu sana kwa kulalamika lakini tunapoambiwa kuchukua hatua, tunaanza unajua...... unajua......
 
Nyakati za JK na CCM nilisema hafai watu wakasema Wapinzani hawana maana hata kabla ya kujua mie ni mpinzani ama mwana CCM ambaye sina imani na JK .Leo hii watu wanakuja kuomba msamaha hapa baada ya kuona ukweli when it is too late .

Mkandara umesema vyema sana .Hawa wanao dhani mie nakurupuka iko siku watajua ninacho kisema leo when it is too late again.Ndiyo maana CCM na serikali wana tuchezea maana wanajua wana tushikia akili.Tuna lalamika sana bila ya kutoa solution wengine tumeamua kutafuta solution watu wanaanza ku hoji .Kitendo cha RA kuwa na share pale kinatosha kuwaacha vodacom hata kama ingalikuwa ni nusu share.
 
Kwa nguvu kubwa ambayo ni matokeo ya pesa ya RA na EL bado kuna mtu anadhani ku single out Codacom ni dhambi ?

Jamani Tigo, Celtel, Zantel na nyie lalamikeni mbona Vodacom wamepewa 10 yr Tax holiday?? How come??? Who authorized this??


MP faults Vodacom's tax holidays

THE Legislator for Gando(CUF), Mr Khalifa Suleiman Khalifa, has questioned the criteria used and basis for granting a mobile phone company, Vodacom Tanzania Limited, tax holiday of 10 years.

Debating the Prime Minister's Office 2008/09 budget estimates, Mr Khalifa said by exempting the company from income and corporate tax the government was losing billions of shillings.

He told the House that when it started operations the company was granted a tax holiday of five years and that it received an extension of another five years upon the expiry of the earlier term. The MP said it was estimated that the company which was paying between 6bn/- and 8bn/- in Value Added Tax a month had an annual turnover of over 350bn/-. "That means this company collects over 300bn/- a year and yet does not pay tax," he said.

Mr Khalifa wanted to know who made that decision and why on that particular company while there were four other firms that provided mobile phone services in the country.

He said since tax being one of the main sources of the government's revenue the move was detrimental to the country's economy and national development.

Worse still, he said mobile phone tariffs remained high among all companies making Tanzania the second country in the world with exorbitant rates after Turkey.

CCM na mafisadi baada ya shauri lao la Wabunge wao kule Arusha wameamua kusema hakuna kusulubiwa mtu .That means ufisadi unaendelea .Nimerudi kuja hapa kuitisha mgomo wa Vodacom .Tafadhalini wananchi .

Vodacom Tanzania was licensed in December 1999, with its local partners Planetel Communications and Caspian Construction holding 36% and 10% respectively. Planetel’s stake has since decreased to 16%, while Caspian’s has increased to 19%.

Caspian’s shareholder representative on the Vodacom Tanzania board is businessman-politician Rostam Aziz, a close associate of President Jakaya Kikwete. At the time Vodacom entered Tanzania, neither man was quite as powerful as now -- Kikwete was foreign minister and Aziz had yet to occupy a formal position in national politics.

But they proved a good bet: In 2005 Kikwete, supported and funded by Aziz as his campaign manager, succeeded Benjamin Mkapa as president, and Aziz was elected to Parliament. Last year, when Kikwete also took over the chair of the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), from Mkapa, Aziz became the party’s treasurer.

Vodacom Tanzania had, however, spread its political bets. The CCM’s Pius Msekwa was both Vodacom Tanzania’s non-executive chair and Speaker of Parliament between 2003 and 2005. When Vodacom hosted a “VIP gala dinner” to bid farewell to outgoing president Mkapa in December 2005, Msekwa attended, presumably in both capacities.

Vodacom Group said in a statement this week that Aziz’s participation in Vodacom Tanzania was “lawful”, but added that “governance risks have to be carefully managed, particularly if they increase over time as a business partner, shareholder representative or director takes on an increasingly active role in politics”.

About Msekwa, it said that the appointment of Vodacom Tanzania’s chair was the prerogative of Vodacom’s Tanzanian partners, but conceded: “It is correct to note that having a Speaker of Parliament as a chairman presents a significant degree of governance risk, and Vodacom would very likely counsel or decide against such an appointment in future.”

Kinachokera kuhusu mtandao mzima wa vodacom na uongozi wa Serikali ni kuwa hii kampuni hailipi corporate tax toka ianzishwe! Hili lilisemwa Bungeni na Mbunge wa Gando, Halifa, and nobody, including the Minister for Finance dared to explain!
 
Well, HITs - (the new telekom company) one of the shareholder ni waziri ndani ya serikali ya Kikwete - kwa hio sioni kama kuna utata walichokifanya vodacom.

Linalotisha kwenye hii habari kwamba Kikwete kua alikua supported and funded by Rostam Aziz! Hii ni aibu

Kwasababu lakujiuliza hapo - ni nini anachotegemea arudishiwe baada ya uchaguzi?
 
Wengine huwa hatuongei sana, ila natoa onyo kwamba Vodacom inabidi waagalie sana, uwepo wa Rostam kwenye biashara yao utawaharibia,

Pindi watanzania wakigundua wamemkumbatia Fisadi, na kwamba kila ukipiga sim asilimia 15% ya pesa inakwenda kwa rostam, wataumia sana na hata kufikiri kubadili Network.


Vodacom be predictive about this please! as the business fall sometimes happens abruptly, please expel this guy RA out! some we don't even want to see his face!
