Mobius motors - kenya's first car company

Mobius Motors | Home

I created this page to spread the awareness of Kenya's first successful automotive company Mobius Motors. They currently have two vehicles out Mobius one and Mobius two, the two vehicles can easily fit in a city setting and in rugged ones which will suit the challenges of traversing our country, the company will successfully launch the cars in 2012 with the Mobius two costing 6,000 Us dollars many Kenyans will be able to afford one. So people lets cheer and support this company to create a future for our country.

wow! Put more efforts because there are many experienced competitors who have monopolized the market and they are not ready to see or hear this.

Sisi tulianza awali kabisa na Nyumbu. Tumefikia wapi?

Hapo katikati wali-slow down lakini sasa hivi unaendelea.

Unajua taizo hapa ni utanda wizi. Watu wanahitaji kitu confiscated! Pia production cost ni kikwazo kwetu.

where is my NYUMBU CARS?CANT SEE THEM ON THE STREET
can someone tell me who proposed this name "NYUMBU"(a wilbeast)cant separate the real wild beast behaviour and things that face this unattained project-

The price is right. It should work fine--especially with everybody's support in the region. Kuna mtu anaenda kuumizwa hapo. Toyota, Mahindra na Landrover. This is quite a good business feat! Who's behind the assembly? Is is Tata? Or Jie Fong.

livefire, Kenya has done well in some aspects and now you are targeting the automobile industry - hongera. Tanzania is making progress in its own terms but maybe we are not very good at 'reporting' each and everything here!. Shy or not, we have even created an online forum for anyone including Kenya to communicate and looking at the many posts here I can clearly see that you're thoroughly enjoying this Tanzanian product.

What does it mean? Lol! sorry my friends we do not need your steel, we have plenty of steel mining in Taita taveta and we can get even cheaper steel from INdia.

The Nyumbu Truck looks great and the Mobius too, guess these will be hardy mobiles ideal for the rough African terrain. We are slowly getting somewhere.

Good positive comment. We are indeed going somewhere! Is it a Tata subsidiary or a Kenyan SU?

dude, do you have a vision? Nowonder Tanzania is classified as the shy society though u dont rep the face of Tz. A nation that lacks a vision is doomed. So you are proud of japanese vehicles all over your streets???....Brazils' plane project started tiny, Indias car sector too....look at the two economies now.

All two Nations you mention, they are Kings of Steel. India through Mittal Brothers they have bought many Steel industries in Europe and they went on buying Cars Industries such us Rover, Jaguar, BMW Formula 1, and also they have Force India team in Formula 1. Tata now is a big name.

Many Car industries are sold in take away price. I'm not sure what happen with Volvo and Hammer because no body wanted to buy those fabrics. I know today if you have money, you can go to area like Russia or Ukraine and buy for take away chain production of this things and you take to Africa. That was my meaning and not ROHO MBAYA. I cross my finger for you guys to make thing different not like Swedish Cars, USA Cars etc. All the best.

Sisi tutawa provide na steel, kiwanda kikubwa kinakamilishwa hapo Bwagamoyo.

Mkuu, hapo sasa. Ndiyo maana hata Dreamliner wametumia hizo alloys kuiunda ili iwe nyepesi. Airbus pia wanaenda hukohuko kwenye Alloys.

The price vs durability is always killing this small fabric. I will prefer used VW or Toyota Corola rather than buying New Fiat or Dacia from Rumunia. But in market, 10 years used Toyota Corola is the same price with new Dacia. This car after 5 years will be useless.

Don't joke with Tata now. Apart of being owner of Land Rover, they also own this car, one of the best car in the world, JAGUAR......

Who owns Mobius? Mbona nauliza tangu asubuhi sipati jibu?

Mwembetayari yupo wapi? Naomba kujua jamani....its just out of curiosity.

Mobius is not spearheaded by the military, about founders, its a blend of Kenyans and a couple of white people.
Tata and Jiefong (or whatever that name is are not involved)...its a group of mechanics making it big.
