Wewe fala kweli yani unasifia LED as if its another technology from Mars. Nyerere bridge has LED's and the Mwanza foot bridge has LED's. My house it self the gypsum ceiling am using LED's. Fake engineer you are.UAP is a post modern tower with modern LED lights (something that no Tanzanian building has up to date while many Kenyan towers have) and excellent interior design with a vertical garden (I guess you don't even know what this is). But for you bongolalas who didn't know what a skyscraper is till 5 years ago, you think a modern building is all about glasses. In Kenya we've been there and done that. We've had glass skyscrapers since 1980s and now we are doing varieties - different shapes and models (like Prism, Britam, UAP, LeMac etc) terracotta baguette (Britam, Avic) granite tiles (UAP) Super tall glazed (Pinnacle) etc and they all have LED lights and most have vertical gardens. Meanwhile in Tz you're still awed by boring towers provided they're covered in glass. In fact were it not for Kenyan architects you would still be doing ugly eyesores like Rita Tower and Viva Towers. At least Kenyan architects did you a favor now you can take a million photos of those three towers and boast about them all year round.

The JNIA airport kwanza is poorly located.....mkiwa na meeting kwenye yale maofisi ya pale karibu midege inapita every now and then hamwezi sikilizana. It was supposed to be far from maeneo ya watu.
The new terminal 3 is a major step forward.....though my opinion ni baadae wamodernize ile terminal 2 it had a very good design, au waijenge upya but with the same design only bigger and better!
Lastly, wasisahau a dedicated terminal and lounges for Air Tanzania!

Unachozungumza ni theory zaidi kuliko uhalisia, kumbuka miji yetu ilianza kienyeji haikutegemewa kwamba itakua ni miji mikuu, ni tofauti sana na miji mipya kama vile Abuja au Dodoma ambayo kutoka mwanzo imepangwa kuwa utakuwa mji mkuu. Dar kwa mfano ulianzishwa na waarabu kama Bagamoyo, hiyo mipango miji ilianza baadae sana tayari miji imeshakua mikubwa. Katika hali hiyo inabidi lazima baadhi ya mambo hayawezi kuwa sawa sawa kati ya Lagos na Abuja, au Dar na Dodoma, ni sawa na kutaka barabara za miji ya Europe ziwe pana sawasaw na miji ya USA, CANADA au Australia.Mimi miji yote niliyoenda airport inakuwa mbali na mji na hakuna makazi ya watu karibu na pale.
Ina maana watu wa mipango miji hawajui kwamba mji unakua kwa kasi? Kwa nini hawakubudget for that kwenye mipango yao? The whole point of city planning ni kuweza kuweka mipango ambayo itakuwa relevant hata 100 years from now!!

Lakini sisi......we have plans to expand further hii JNIA to over 12million passengers per year. Lakini kwa ile space iliyobaki pale.....i am not sure how they will do it.
