Agric contribution to kenya GDP :
direct =26%
indirect=27%
Total=53%
as of 2018, I qouted 60% from the last time I saw these figures about 10 years ago.In which only 7% dependecy has been reclaimed from the sector.
This explains why a drought in kenya can cause 2-3% gdp growth to vanish

Maskini kenya hawakufikiria kabisa kuwa kuna nchi nyingine ya afrika mashiriki itakayo kuja kujenga reli(sgr) zaidi yao, ghafla magufuli kaingia na kupindua kila kitu na kuwafanya wakenya vibaya..kubomoa reli yao hawawezi basi wanabaki kuona fursa zinakimbilia TZ...warwanda hao tunasubir wengne...kwenye hii sgr ni kama maji yan ukiyamwaga huwezi kuyazoa.."wameishia kujenga reli ya ajabu"(in magu's voice)

You Forgot to mention that Sri Lanka is now forcing importers to use the port so that chinese can make money and recoup their investment. Once Mombasa Goes to chinese, All importers will be forced to use it so that china gets its SGR loan back.
Tz has no loan on bagamoyo, If chinese bring high tech port technology, Tz will up their game in Tanga, Dar and others

Clever Chinese will insist such provion of exclusive right in the contract.

Anyone can go to Wikipedia and change this information you are sharing. In fact, if you look at that screenshot you shared you will notice that the figures you claim for do not have any reference/ citation at all. Anyways, I'd advice you to cite strong referenced or so sources. Thank you.

You dont have to be an economist to realize that Kenya's SGR is on a life support as we speak. In fact, the only reason, the doctors are hesistant on pulling the plugs is the rule which was passed by the goverment forcing people to use this mode of transportation in hauling cargo from Mombasa to the dry port. Evidently, this rule will be challenged in court and I am positive that it will be struck down...
