So now you have changed tune from expecting alot of properity from oil to "kenya is not in a hurry for revenues" 😀😀 As we speak,Tz Is already exporting Gas and using it as a substitute for oil imports

Magu asking Zuma for help was the funniest thing ever😂😂. BRICS (an association of emerging economies, Brazil Russia, India, China and South Africa) said hell no to investing funds in electric rail in a country that has more than half of it’s population in the dark!
“I have asked President Jacob Zuma to help us secure a low interest loan from Brics to finance particularly the SGR project,” President Magufuli said.
However, Brics remains reluctant to finance the project.
President Magufuli had also requested the World Bank President Dr Jim Yong Kim to help in financing the project.
The World Bank claims that it is not viable. World Bank instead has issued $200 million to renovate the old railway line.

While JPM asked finances for big projects like SGR Uhuru asked for a permission for Kenyans to be allowed to enter SA like Tanzanians without visa. Till today Kenyans pay visa and renewal can only occur in Nairobi that means Kenyans who r already in SA have to fly home to renew their visa to stay in SA.

Dont try and sound like if Tz is special ... Tz is in SADC, All SADC countries have simillar arrangement just like under EAC kenya Ug and Rwanda dont even require a passport!
This is part of Agenda 2063.. where within each regional block countries should intregrate before we finally intergreate the respective regional blocks..
Kenya is just looking for a bilateral shortcut for her own benefit..

Tz has Natural Gas and can use it to power emergency power along the SGR. They also have huge power plants in hydro, coal and gas Under constrution

As far as Tanzanians we complain life is too tough to bear but Kenyans you've your own story. From our side, money circulation in the country used to be 10%. Under P.M it's only 8% in the circulation making our life the way it is.
A few years ago the same thing used to be in Kenya(life being 3 tough.) The price of unga rose bringing a multiple of complains from the common mwananchi. People used to prefer chapo n rice to ugali which raised national alarms considering the intimate bond between luhyas n ugali.
To my surprise, I noticed JUBILEE used a high interest loan from the chinese to dilute the failure feeling among Kenyans over the jubilee's reign.(empty promises like 5 word class studiums...)
So as far as tz we are behind Kenyans in terms of infrastructure, still we are doing great. The success on our SGR deal, till now it's our local currency that has financed the project. You laugh at us but remember P.M is looking for a low interest loan unlike your leader. What I know, the tzd's grand project of st. Stigler gorge and the expansion of bagamoyo port all are going to be financed 100% by Chinese low interest laons will put our public debt to 30% level which is far much below in comparison to all our east African counterparts.
So as much tuko ligi ndogo. Wait for ruto to take over ndio mshtuke you lose a good portion of your foreign investors to tz due to the corruption rate that's obviously going to increase.
For the mean time, we are doing it just perfectly fine.
