More kickback secrets from SGR Kenya-Chinese Contract:

1) Actually the track distance of the actual rail is 609km vs the ethiopian one which has atrack leght of 756km

2) Ethiopia rail doesn't cater for wildlife crossing while ours is full of bridges and fenced all the way to cater for that.

2)Ethiopia have 16 train stations (both persenger and passing station) along the whole route because no one lives in between the two capitals, while Kenya SGR has a total of 33 stations. i.e a station every 18 km...

3) Ethiopia got 32 electric trains and 1000 rail wagons....while Kenya has 56 diesel trainsand about 1,800 wagons... With double stack capability.

4) and the most important factor of all. Ethiopia rail has a design capacity of 18million tonnes p.a with possibility of being upgraded to 25million p.a in future while Kenya SGR current design capacity is 22million tonnes with possibility of upgrading up to 35 million tonnes p.a...

You are one of those cluesell people who debate on issues when they have no facts just bunch of heresay , enda kule skyscrapeecity Kwa page ya Ethiopia SGR uangalie vile waEthiopia wenyewe wanakiri SGR Kenya ni superior kuliko Yao.....
Wow! I love how you explain things. You are dealing with scumbags though. They always disagree and they have only seen the Kenyan SGR on pics

There is a difference between Track distance/length and Route length..... You guys said Kenya SGR is 472km long while Ethiopia is 750km long which is NOT true... Route distance is the length of the route when you draw a linear line on the map of the route..... Track length is the actual length of the actual steel Rail meandering its way though all the coners along the route...
Kenya has an SGR route length of 472km and a track length of 609km
Ethiopia has an SGR route length of 656km and a track length of 765km

So when you are comparing Ethiopia Vs Kenya SGR You either use 472 Vs 656 or 609km Vs 765km you cannot however use 472 Vs 765 km like you guys have done!!!!!

We stopped twice between Lebu and Adama, including once for 5 minutes because we hit a goat at a road crossing
(the management company then sends some of its local staff to pay compensations). We arrived in Adama at 9:15 and stopped for about 40 min for an unknown reason. The train then passes through less populated areas at between 90 and 100 km/h; you're in the very basalt-y plain of the rift valley, surrounded by soon-to-be woken small volcanoes. After riding 2h15 from Adama, the train stopped in the bush not far from Metehara. I saw a goat on the side that couldn't seem to use its back legs. I thought it was giving birth ("cuuuute") until I realized there were more inanimate goats a few meters further. The train had gone full speed through a herd, killing 30. Locals came and there were soon 30ish people around the train. The four federal police guys who are always aboard the train went to discuss with them as usual. However the shepherd didn't want to let the train go until he gets compensated (for 70 goats, since some were pregnant and some cubs need their dead mother...). More federal and local police came, about 20 in total. The train left after 7 (!) hours of negotiations which, according the the Chinese boss in the train, included some calls to the Ethiopian minister of transport and the head of the federal police in Addis, at dusk (I suspect the shepherd let it go because they had to go home for diner, otherwise they would have stayed!). The boss told me "they do it on purpose to get money. They ask an unreasonable price. The other day we killed 12 camels and they asked for a million birr". There are 21 dedicated railway stations along the railway, all of them can serve as passing loop stations, as they have three tracks or more (except the Adigala station which has only two tracks). Four of the 21 railway stations are designed as passing loops only, so there is no freight loading / unloading or passenger service. Two of the remaining 17 stations are freight yards only and two others will be for passengers only. Ethiopia
The remaining 13 stations can handle both passenger services as well as freight loading / unloading Addis Ababa–Djibouti Railway - Wikipedia

View attachment 994894

So when you are comparing Ethiopia Vs Kenya SGR You either use 472 Vs 656 or 609km Vs 765km you cannot however use 472 Vs 765 km like you guys have done!!!!!

2) Ethiopia rail doesn't cater for wildlife crossing while ours is full of bridges and fenced all the way to cater for that..........................

I said Ethiopian line doesnot cater for wildlife, wewe unaniletea Quote ya kwamba kuna daraja la meter mia moja linavuka mto huko Ethiopia... WTF..... Sisi tuna daraja la km 7 pale tzavo national park ili tu wanyama wavuke na chini...
Tzavo bridge for animal crossing
DwC1Ql6WwAAXOiB.jpg

Tena sehemu nyingi huko Ethiopia hazina Fence, Wafugaji ng'ombe na mbuzi nafanya maksudi ya kupandisha Mbuzi juu ya reli ili zigongwe ndo wapewe fidia... Angalau huku Kenya Ukiskia mnyama amegongwa hua ni fence imevunjwa ndo wanyama wakaingia, Kule Ethiopia kila siku lazma mbuzi kadhaa zigongwe...

Soma hii

2)Ethiopia have 16 train stations (both persenger and passing station) along the whole route because no one lives in between the two capitals, while Kenya SGR has a total of 33 stations. i.e a station every 18 km...

Did you even bother to read the Wikipedia page where you got this ? Or you stopped imidiately you saw that info??? Let me bring the whole paragraph for you to read Again

Hizo ulizoleta za Kenya ni passenger stations pekee, Haujaongelea kuhusu passing stations

Hii hapa EIA report ya SGR Kenya

Hizo passing station 24 za Kenya zote zimejengwa design moja zinafanana hivi

3) Ethiopia got 32 electric trains and 1000 rail wagons....while Kenya has 56 diesel trains and about 1,800 wagons... With double stack capability...........................................
So mimi nilisema wako na 32 electric trains wewe unaquote wakisema wako na 35 electric trains, mimi nikasema wako na 1000 wagons wewe unaquote 1,172 wagons.... Hapo unaona tofauti kubwa kiasi cha kunikosoa?????

4) and the most important factor of all. Ethiopia rail has a design capacity of 18 million tonnes p.a with possibility of being upgraded to 25million p.a in future while Kenya SGR current design capacity is 22million tonnes with possibility of upgrading up to 35 million tonnes p.a...
Is Kenya's new railway good value for money?
Hakuna mahali hio article inaongelea kuhusu capacity ya SGR, alafu hio ripoti ya Worldbank inayoongelewa hapo inayosema hakuna haja ya kujenga SGR... mimi nishawahi isoma, Unajua inasema nini??? Inapredict Kenya itaweza kubeba only 9 million tonnes kwa mwaka kupitia SGR, Pia Inasema Tz itaweza beba only 6 million tonnes p.a..... Ni vile tu wanahabari wenu hua wamelala hautaona article ikigusia hayo huko Tz....

Hii hapa Ripoti iliondikwa na Ministry of Transport Uganda wakifanya comperizon,
Ukumbuke reli ya Kenya na Uganda ziko na same design capacity ya tonnage per year
