Nairobi is indeed dynamic but DAR may have slums may be underdeveloped, may be whatever it may be. That's not an argument.

Dynamic simply means changes, and indeed Nairobi is changing and needs a face lift badly.

When you take out kibera slums and build flats for those at kibera, you are simply changing and doing a face lift. You are not growing.

Dynamic in this case doesnt just mean changing... Kenya was also the only african country that made it to top 100 then top 15 most intelligent cities in the world....

So dynamism inthis case doesnt mean just changing with skyscrappers, it means the city's ability to reinvent itself over the years, it means resilience, innovation and technology adaptability...things like that..... in a a decade Nairobi has changed from bieng the diplomatic capital of Africa, it became a financial hub, then it became, then it became a multinational hub..... then there was terrorism...at the same time Nairobi reinvented itself and became a tech hub-the silicon savanna, Then it became an international conference hub, now we are about to become a financial trading hub..... we are constantly looking for new ways to maintain a competitive advantage, and this attracts lots of blue chip companies....
and not to forget the kinds of infrastructure inbestments in nairobi, the city is constantly on the move, people have constantly found innovative ways to solve problems, from mobile apps that tell you which road has less traffic, an intelligent traffic monitoring system, water and milk atms to improve hygine and accecibility, things like ushahidi app to crowdsource.....
So thats how Nairobi is dynamic

Nairobi malls like Garden city?
Ukiwapa JKIA, what will they counter with?
City scape and real estates
What about It solutions like Mpesa, Sportpesa and Ushahidi? When you tell them Muriuki's Sportpesa is an official sponsor of Hull city and official betting partner of Arsenal, what will they counter?
Can they counter our sports? when you tell them a Kenyan in a Mercedes won European formula 1, what will they say?
