Every Sunday I plan my week and review my vision and goals for work and life and make sure they are aligned with my purpose.
Most people don’t know what their purpose in life is, and that ok.
Most people NEVER know and that makes me a bit sad. The great news is, it takes the fun of trial and error and some emotional digging and it’s a ‘living’ process.
I stumbled across mine after a going through some pretty heavy stuff - personally and professionally - all at the same time.
And even when I knew what it was, it took some time to put it into words. So I can’t give you the answer on your purpose but here’s what I’ve learned about finding it, looking back on my journey.
> Your purpose is a big impact you want to make on the earth, the human race, the animal kingdom (yes that big) (no, your vision is shorter term).
START HERE: ‘UN Global Goals’
> It can be related to what you do for a living, as long as your purpose wouldn’t change (much) if you changed what you did for a living.
LOOKUP: ‘Ikigai’
> Remember that until you find your purpose, never think you’re stuck or lost - everything you do is for now, not forever and your just early in the process.
TRY: ‘something new, every week if you have to’
I’m doing minimal planning today as I’m packing a bag for a week in landscape so I hope this is something for you to think about.
I’d love to know something you’re excited about this week, and have an amazing week.
