Clothes on a drying line near the Michigan middle school are almost flying away , small dust are collecting in the sky forming a heap in the sky hindering one from seeing , the eyes of people are forced to close by the wind. People are running to their houses, but John a boy of only 4 years is not running he is staring at the sky, the heavy rain is coming wetting John’s body he runs to a nearby house but he is not lucky the doors are close.

The family presents food and tea to John; he has eaten and now is relaxing on a cushion and is ready to tell the story of his life to them.
IN NORTH CAROLINA
A woman was walking from home in a hurry with a suitcase on her left hand , she is wearing a maroon gown with a pink scarf around the neck , maroon high heels are on her feet, it is 09:00 PM the street lights are on there are only few vehicles on the road . She had walked for an hour now and was now resting near the pavement, she was weeping bitterly tears fell from her round eyes. This is Emily Johnson a wife of Albert Johnson a city sheriff , they had been married almost five years now unfortunately she never had any child , Mr. Johnson took her to the nearby hospital for a checkup , on the day to the hospital Johnson was curious of the results after check up . Results showed that Johnson’s wife was barren, on the way to their home Johnson thought how he could do it with a barren wife this was what kept him awake at nights for almost three weeks after results until a day he decided to chase the woman from his house, it was night but had no mercy on her anyway.
Emily was totally absorbed in thoughts that she did not notice the car running past her , after only five minutes she was down bleeding , the car knocked her head owing to high speed the driver stopped a few meters from her , the driver got off his car and ran to her he was perplexed and put his hands on his head , but rang 911 and after 5 minutes the ambulance advanced to the scene , now many people were around Emily , she was taken to hospital and spent almost five weeks there but fate worked its time , there had been blood blocks in the head due to internal bleeding in the head.
After five weeks she was taken to Saint August hospital where the block of blood was removed but faced another catastrophe she had Calcify tendinitis which is a form of tendinitis, a disorder characterized by deposits of hydroxyapatite (a crystalline calcium phosphate) in any tendon of the body, but most commonly in the tendons of the rotator cuff (shoulder) causing pain and inflammation.
Dr Martin was a special doctor at this hospital and was the one to perform diagnosis he had studied Rheumatology. A surgery was arranged to be done after three weeks , and now the doctors were discussing on which method to use between open shoulder surgery or arthroscopic surgery but in real sense they are both difficult to perform. On the day of the surgery it was discovered that the deposit was large and it was decided that Emily to visit the hospital frequently to repair a rotator cuff in order to fix the defect left in the tendon.
During surgery the doctors discovered there was a dead fetus in Emily’s body , this shocked the doctors and saw that they had to remove the fetus first after that a day was postponed surgery would be done next three days to come to let the patient have some rest , after three days surgery was done successfully . Emily spent other three days there before she was discharged from the hospital .The driver Victor was there on her day of discharge.
EMILY IN LOVE WITH VICTOR
After spending more than a month in hospital together whenever Victor came to pay a visit her heart was becoming absorbed by love to him, considering that she was single at that time, she hid it at first but as the days went on; she lastly talked of it to Victor.
‘’ I would like to say thanks, for being here I don’t know how to thank you (tears are now flowing). On that day of accident I had just come from my husband’s house, he kicked me out of the door ‘’ said Emily
‘’I am sorry for that, I am sorry to have heard your story being in a sad way. But I assure you that as long as I am alive am going to help you (he holds Emily’s hands and looks at them). It is going to be okay (Emily rests on the chest of Victor and sighs) ‘’ said Victor
After almost three months later they became couples, they were very happy together and God blessed them with a young boy named John, but unfortunately Victor was sued by Emily’s former husband who was the sheriff, the case was very tough the sheriff brought all the documents of marriage .On the side of Victor he only had Emily and his old mother Janet, he was weeping uncontrollably because he was totally defeated and was to spend five years in prison.
After a day of sentencing Victor was allowed to talk to his family, he was in pain he hugged his mom, Emily and his newly born boy John, and then went into prison. No sooner did a week pass than when it was heard that Janet died. Victor was allowed to go to the cemetery area to bury the body of his mother, he was the only child born to Janet. It was later discovered that there was a letter that his mother left; it was in a khaki envelope. This is what it read.
‘To my dear son Victor
I am at home on a chair you loved to sit when you were young , ready to listen my stories about the nature and everlasting souls , I am holding a jersey your dad bought two days before he went to Madagascar where he fell into the river and drowned, it is still good I wonder how fast you have grown . You looked nice when you smiled always chilling .You had been our only lovely gift from God, I with your father had many hopes in you. I remember you coming from school and telling me the nice friends you had and even that bullying boy who knocked you off the road, you smiled and said at least dad would save me, but am happy to have you mom on my side. Since when I saw you at the court my soul is restless, I am totally weak with nothing left except Billy your dog, it is always on a door to wait for your visit after long wait it comes to my feet and sleeps. It does so every day I am sad that I can’t tell it you are not going to come until when five solid years are through. I am too weak to walk as am 68 years my birthday is 23rd of this month, but I know this is my last day I am writing this with your dog beside me we are warming on a burning fire in the house. It (dog) is too sad to look at without having tears drop , it seems to understand my last hope is gone .I am sad that am going to leave it alone with nobody to feed it.
Your lovely mom
Janet M.M
I hope to see you in paradise someday where we shall be a family with your dad’’
After burying Janet Victor was taken into the prison again , Emily was left alone she always did odd jobs to support life of her son John .She did laundry , housemaid , and baby sitting in rich families , life was a tough game she was not able to do . On her own she had to pay water bills , power bills , insurance bills , provide food for his son , and pay fee for his education .There were days they had only of slices of bread with tea for the night ,life was real difficult for them
THIEVES AT EMILY’S HOUSE
On the fourth year of Victor’s imprisonment , 1st of August , the thieves broke into Emily’s house Emily hid in the house underground room where a set of five couches could be placed , the area was dusty but this time John was sound asleep in that same room her mother put it on the floor , then she called the police on her mobile phone and reported the scene , it was 1:00 pm, the thieves were still in the house turning everything upside down but within no time the house was surrounded by armed polices who arrested all the thieves.
Then Emily came from the underground building, now John was awake he was shocked to see polices at their place. The thieves were taken to the police station where after much interrogation it was discovered that the city sheriff sent them to invade the house , the thieves confessed at the court and all the evidence was plain , also it was learnt that the judge who put Victor into jail took bribe from this sheriff , Victor was released from the jail . The court decided to hang the sheriff as per what was stated in the Law of 1956, it was morning of 11th of December that same year. Writers from different newspapers wrote this story all who read it were sorry for John and his family.
John finishes his story; Margaret cries so does her mother, John is now five years. He continues saying that in this day I was walking with my mom when I lost her on the way because I was watching at the sky , because mom said my grandmother is there watching at me that is why I was looking at it , but unfortunately the sky let the rain down . After few minutes later there is a knock at the door, it is John’s mom she is looking for John, she is now happy and says this is the last house in this avenue that she would look for John. She is now happy.
