Former Isidingo star Lesego Motsepe is dead.

In a statement released by her family, the actress’ body was discovered by her brother at 11 AM on Monday 20th January 2014.

Paramedics declared her dead at 1 PM. She died of natural causes, but the family is the presently waiting for the autopsy report.

In 2011, Lesego announced that she was HIV-positive on World Aids Day and has since become an AIDS ambassador.

A memorial service for the South African star will be held on Thursday at the SABC M1 Studios in Auckland Park.

A spokesperson for the late actress said the service scheduled to take place between 1 PM and 3 PM, will be open to the public, but seating is limited to 300.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday 25th January 2014 at the Walter Sisulu Memorial, Randburg. Lesego will be laid to rest at the West Park Cemetery.

Ni wakati umefika kwa serikali kuonesha uwajibikaji wa wazi katika mambo ya msingi na kuondokana na tabia ya kulindana huku wananchi wakizidi kuteketezwa kwa uzembe wa watu wachache.

Tunaweza kujiuliza nini kazi ya TFDA kama dawa feki zinapita kirahisi namna hii?

TFDA wamefanya uzembe wa kuruhusu dawa feki na kujidai kushituka wakati dawa zimesha samba nchini, je walikuwa wapi sikuzote na kwa nini hawakufanyia uchunguzi wa kina dawa hizi kabla ya kuruhusu kusambazwa?

Tujiulize ni nani na ni kiwanda gani kimetengeneza dawa hizi?

Ni nani aliye ruhusu dawa hizi kuwa zina faa kutumika kama siyo hawa hawa TFDA?

Ni vyema katika swala hili siasa ikawekwa pembeni na serkali kuwawa jibisha yeyote aliye husika katka uingizwaji wa dawa hizi bandia, na serikali inatakiwa ijue imeanza kuonesha kwa vitendo inavyo leta michezo ya kubahatisha kwenye maisha ya watu.

Facts about Antiretroviral Drugs

"ARV" is short for antiretroviral drugs. This class of highly toxic chemicals is promoted by the drug industry to patients with HIV-infections as "life saving."

In this effort, the drug industry is using an army of lobbyists, including celebrities and even politicians, some of whom may not be aware of the scientific facts: none of these drugs has ever been shown to cure either HIV or AIDS and they are not allowed to be sold as a cure. Moreover, these toxic drugs are known to attack the immune system of patients and eventually destroy it.

This website documents extracts from the "patient information leaflets" of these drugs, as published by the drug manufacturers themselves.

Following are some examples of how the drug industry even abuses entire organizations to promote their business at the expense of the lives of some of the most vulnerable people on earth.

The fact that none of the ARV products currently marketed in Africa and beyond can cure HIV or AIDS is a little known fact. This gap of knowledge has two main reasons:
The pharmaceutical multinationals invest millions of Rand in organizations promoting ARVs – despite their inability to cure.
Moreover, hardly any of the patients taking ARV pills receives the product information – mandated by law – because in many doctor’s offices and hospitals, ARV pills are deliberately removed from the manufacturer’s box containing the warnings, long before the patients receive the pills.
The pharmaceutical multinationals support special organizations, which infiltrate the hospitals in the developing world under the veil of charity. A main function of these organizations is, to take the ARV pills out of the manufacturers boxes and “repackage” them in colorful daily supply boxes – removing any product information and warning notices. One of these “repackaging” organizations is called “Médecins Sans Frontières” MSF (Doctors Without Borders). The picture above is taken from an MSF brochure. It shows how ARV pills are “repackaged” from the original containers (upper right hand corner) into a patient box, which no longer contains the warning notices – but instead only the colorful logo of MSF.

The drug multinationals not only use “cover” organizations in the developing world to promote their business, but also other entities. One of them is the notorious “Médecins Sans Frontières” (MSF) with its home bases in the drug lobby capitals of the world, Brussels and Geneva.
MSF collects money from drug companies (e.g. GlaxoSmithKline - GSK) and related special interests (e.g. Rockefeller) and uses it to promote the drug business in the developing world. Another MSF activity is the systematic re-packaging and re-labeling of ARV drugs – in order to hide their toxicity. A despicable activity that is described here.

For 25 years, the promoters of anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs have been advocating these drugs as the treatment of choice for AIDS with claims of life-saving and life-prolonging properties. The promoters of these claims include certain media, ARV-supporters among the clinical community, activist groups as well as politicians around the world.

However, the scientific validity and truth of these ARV-related health claims has never been proven in well-controlled, long-term scientific studies. Moreover, the promoters of these drugs never had to defend these claims in court and under oath.

That has now changed. In 2007, a case brought against the British newspaper the Guardian presented for the first time the opportunity to challenge these claims in a court.

The exchange of scientific arguments about the value of ARVs in AIDS treatment also provided the Guardian and its scientific advisors – collectively described here after as “the ARV defendants” – with a chance to defend their position in sworn testimony.

Following is a summary of the key arguments from the historic scientific exchange that took place during this court case. As the several hundred pages of court documents on these web pages show, the ARV defendants were unable to defend the falsity of some of the key claims they have been advancing for a quarter of a century.

The truth regarding the clinical and scientific limitations of ARV drugs are presented below.
