Hivi u-Tanzania ni sawasawa na uraia wa Tanzania? Hivi mimi nikichukua uraia wa nchi nyingine basi utanzania wangu ( uasili wangu) unapotea? Kwani kwa kuchukua uraia wa nchi nyingine ni sawa na kukana uraia wang

THE TANZANIA CITIZENSHIP ACT 1995:
"4) A citizen of the United Republic shall cease to be a citizen it
(a) having attained the age of eighteen years, he acquired the citizenship
of some country other than the United Republic by a voluntary
act other than marriage;
(b) having attained that age of eighteen years, he otherwise acquired

Bado unachanganya uraia wa Tanzania (citizenship) na utanzania (ethnicity). Hapa ninachoulizia ni uTanzania na sio uraia wa Tanzania.
Kwa mfano, Julius anaweza kuwa raia wa Marekani lakini hakumuondeshei haki ya kujiita m-Tanzania. Tatizo linakuja kwenye watoto wa Julius atakaowazaa Marekani na raia wa Marekani mwenzake. Lakini jee kama huyo raia wa Marekani nae ni mtanzania, mtoto wao hatakuwa na haki ya kujiita m-Tanzania?
