Kama ni testing mbona mtungi wa gongo umelala kando ya reli? Kwani mkifanya testing siku hizi inabidi mng'oe mtungi na kuutupa kando ya reli?
 
Acheni upotoshaji hicho kichwa kilipotoka bandarini waliweka matairi ya meter gauge maana sgr bandarini bado haijajengwa hapo kimelazwa ila kuhamishiwa kwenye SGR rail ambayo iko in parallel alignment na meter gauge ambapo watafix matairi ya SGR sasa.

Hiyo locomotive matairi yake ni ya SGR ambayo ni pana kuliko meter gauge rail. So hapo wamekinyofoa matairi ili wakisafirishe hadi Pugu ambapo reli ya SGR 'inaanzia' then wakivishe matairi ili kianze majaribio. Thats why kimechomolewa matairi na kuvalishwa matairi ya bandia ambayo ndio hivyo vitoroli unavyoviona hapo pembeni. Kwa kifupi, hii treni ilikuwa imebebwa kwenye toroli. Sasa inaonekana zile 'bumps' na kama unavyojua toroli halina mneso ile Kinetic energy ikazidi nguvu ndio kikadondoka. Usually ile Kinetic energy huwa absorbed na shock absober ambazo ziko kwenye matairi yake original.

Shock absorbers slow down and reduce the magnitude of vibratory motions by turning the kinetic energy of suspension movement into heat energy that can be dissipated through hydraulic fluid.
 
Vibratory motion = potential energy

When a spring/shock is compressed, it gains potential energy which is stored in that spring at that instant. Some of that energy is lost as heat as atoms of that material are squeezed together and vibrate. That heat loss is one of the reason you get that damping effect (loss of energy).
