Naivasha, Kenya: Former Naivasha MP John Mututho has defected from The National Alliance party to Narc party.
Mututho claimed that the returning officer in Naivasha who presided over the nominations is the chairman of bar owners association in Naivasha.
He said that the electoral official had led several demonstrations against him following his position on alcohol control bill.
"I made a conscious decision because the returning officer has led several demonstrations against me. His other officers were also members of bar owners association," Mututho said Narc Kenya headquarters on Saturday.
