T-MARC Tanzania is a non-profit Tanzanian organization working to improve public health and promote social development. Our socially marketed products and behavior change communication initiatives address pertinent health issues in family planning and reproductive health, child survival, water and sanitation, nutrition and communicable/non-communicable infections like malaria, HIV/AIDS and cervical cancer.

Currently, we are seeking suitable qualified candidates to fill in below positions for USAID Social Enterprise Support Activity (USESA). T-MARC through USESA grows the total market for priority health products by applying social enterprise responsibly: focusing on increasing users, reducing inequities, mitigating risks of crowding out the commercial sector, and sharing evidence and learning with all stakeholders.

Position : Finance Director
Reports to : Managing Director
Location : Dar es Salaam

Broad Function:

• The Finance Director is responsible for the financial management and planning for T-MARC Tanzania. The position oversees all financial Operations of the organization, lead T-MARC overall financial strategy and addressing issues related to sustainability and resources mobilization.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field, CPA/ACCA,
• seven years combined experience in finance management.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting, budgeting and fiscal control theory and practices.
• Budget development skills with multi funding sources and general ledger skills.
• Experience with U.S. government rules and regulations and experience working in NGO environment is desirable.
