This was spotted at mutindwa along outer ring road. In this configuration the train can carry 600 commuters seated and standing.
Currently the trains are undergoing tests on the track before full rollout.
Nairobi metropolitan services (nms) and KR (Kenya Railways) are currently cleaning up the railway corridor and have started putting up fences all along the corridor. Already they have started with the embakasi line, where fencing and beautification of the corridor is taking place.

I am loving it. In future I foresee kenyans tagging along with their bikes on the train and using the new cycling lanes in CBD to move around like in utrecht. yani hii imemalizwa mbele ya sgr yenyu ingawa ilianza baada ya sgr yenyu. na ni 200 km ndani ya nairobi metropolitan.
