The Green City in the Sun is a conservation hotspot, with great public green spaces, parks and even a gazetted rain forest all within the confines of the city. Giraffe Center, Lang'ata.

How do we not have a thread here about Nairobi National Park? The only one of its kind in the world, a national park and exclusive wildlife sanctuary within the confines of a city.
Feel free to add the ever amazing shots of the wild 'citizens' of Nairobi, with the city landscape in the backdrop. Any other relevant material is welcome Kenyans. Watering holes, hotels and accomodations, adjacent apartments and houses with a view, new developments and news about Nairobi NP, etc, etc.

Lupita Nyong'o was in Nairobi a while back championing and promoting conservation of the the African Elephant at the Elephant and Rhino Orphanage, Nairobi National Park.
Seems like she had unlimited fun with the elephants.

While FLOTUS had to be saved by the Secret Service from an orphaned elephant that had the intent of bumping her down, stomping her and sending her to pornstar heaven. [emoji38] Wamarekani buana. [emoji1]
