Truly somebody cursed Tanzania. Mwanza with all those natural resources and it only has a gdp of $5 billion. While Nakuru not even a city relying on agriculture, trade, tourism and manufacturing has a gdp of $6.1 billion and growing faster than any other town in east and central africa. Kweli mtu mwenye aliroga Tanzania alikufa.

Inflated GDPs, even the filthy Lagos Got GDP bigger than the Entire Kenya. Nakuru ni Size ya Morogoro, and all factories in Nakuru combined is equivalent to only 1 gold mine in Mwanza.
Unajua how many Gold Mines are there in Mwanza??

Goldmines ziko mwanza region but not mwanza city,

The largest mall in mwanza is rock city mall which is a medium sized mall in Kenya but i have seen Tanzanians call it "Mega mall", I do not know what they will say if they see two rivers and garden city malls or even lake basin mall in kisumu. Nakuru has about 4 of those medium sized malls.Buffalo mall in Naivasha is actually bigger than rock city mall, the now completed golden life mall in nakuru town is also bigger and the completed Jennifer Riria hub is also bigger than the largest mall in their second largest "city".

Hehe, now i know you are defeated. When a Tanzanian says "GDP ya makaratasi" you know they have run out of points.
Are you not ashamed that Mwanza region and Mwanza "City" with all the gold mines, is still not development in infrastructure and GDP like Nakuru County and Nakuru Town which is not yet a city by Kenyan standards.

NB: If Mwanza was in Kenya it would not be a city it would be a municipality. To be a city in Kenya you must have the population and infrastructure to go with city status. That is why Nakuru County Government is now on overdrive redoing their urban roads network and sewerage systems, along with planning for the next 20 years, then they will be granted city status i.e. A city is not just a conglomeration of rusty iron sheet ramshackles and a big population like Mwanza.

He is not ashamed to talk of goldmines in mwanza region with a GDP of $5 billion, while Nakuru county with a GDP of $6.1 billion is fuelled by Agriculture, Tourism and Manufacturing. With all the gold mines Mwanza region should be more developed than Nakuru county but it is far behind Nakuru County in GDP and infrastructure.
 
Nakuru will also soon be home to a new private hospital "Kabarak University Teaching and Referral Hospital", a kshs 45 billion project. The first private hospital of it's kind in Nakuru County. It will be the teaching hospital for medicine students in Kabarak University when the university gets certified to offer medicine as a course in Kenya. It will also be the first private university to build such a facility in the region.

It will have a capacity of 500 beds of which 60 beds will be ICU beds.

The project will also oversee the modernisation of 23 mission hospitals across the country under the Christian Health Association of Kenya (Chak). “The university has partnered with international organisations to develop the hospital,” said the VC. He added that the university had picked US giant conglomerate GE Healthcare to be the technology provider for the project. INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT “GE Healthcare will help the university with infrastructure development, technology transfer, education and capacity building to support a better health system and patient outcomes,” he said. The project will be financed by US-based Private Equity Sygec. International among other stakeholders.

It is already under construction and scheduled for completion this year.

ii) Nakuru has bigger and better infrastructure than Mwanza. In fact the new upcoming Nakuru international airport will also put your kiosks in Mwanza that you call an airport to shame.
iii) Nakuru has more industries than Mwanza.
iv) If Nakuru was in Tanzania it would have been given the status of a city 20 years ago.
v) Nakuru has more shopping malls than Mwanza. In fact no shopping mall in Tanzania can match the new mall in Nakuru.

All the above and yet it is the fourth largest urban area( not city) in Kenya.

Advice: Do not compare Nakuru to those non corrugated iron sheet ramshackles, you call cities in your country. In 2010,2014 the UN reported that Nakuru is the fastest growing town in Africa not east africa alone. In 2019 it was still the fastest growing town in east and central africa.
Try to compare all your "cities" apart from dar es salaam with kericho or kisii town not Nakuru. Dar es salaam can not compete with Nairob try mombasa.

Umeshindwa GDP na miundombinu sasa unaingia matusi. Mwanza imeshindwa mbali sana na nakuru. Ulitaka picha za malls nikaziweka, GDP ya nakuru ni kubwa kuliko Mwanza nilikupa hiyo pia, bara bara za nakuru ni kubwa na bora kuliko mwanza picha ziko kwenye uzi.

NB: Mambo ya gold mines ni aibu ata usiseme,hakuna mtu anjali feelings zako. Feelings pelekea bibi yako. Mji iko na gold mines lakini inashindwa na mji ya wakulima kwa kila kitu. Mwenye aliwaroga alikufa na akaenda na akili zenu.
