Nahisi kama i want to be different!
Well, nothing wrong with being different, being unique. You can definitely reduce emotions (hisia) especially destructive emotions by looking at things from different perspectives.
But you can't totally 100% eliminate all emotions because emotions (hisia) are energy and energy can be transformed from one form to another but energy can not be destroyed. Negative to positive, positive to negative. Impossible to remain neutral all the time. Because we are not robot or machine, emotions is what make us human.
To love, to hate, to be excited, stressed even depressed, happy, sad, angry, calm, peaceful, troubled it all part of human condition.
Many have try to find that balance before us, Buddha, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Arthur Schopenhauer, Seneca, Epicurus, Socrates, Montaigne and others but all fails etc. The next best things is The stoicism.
