Final ni GSW Vs Cavs
I'll be the first out the gate to admit that last night's performance did not inspire much confidence.
They have now lost back to back games, if you count the last regular season game against the Pelicans.
However, I'd advise you to pump your brakes a little bit for last night's game was game one of a seven-series game.
My hope is that last night's loss will serve as a wake up call and make them realize that the road to a repeat is much harder than the road to last year's championship.
From now on they must fire on all cylinders right off the bat. Lackadaisical starts like the one we saw last night simply won't get them out of the first round against the likes of CP3 and 'em who have a point to prove. They (the Clippers) are on a mission.
Having said that, I believe their experience and cohesion will get them out of the hole they are currently in and take the series back to the River Walk being all square.
But experience and cohesion alone won't be enough to get them through. They also must show that they are hungry for a repeat championship.
Question is, will they? We shall see. Right now they are on the ropes. Let's wait and see how they recover in game two.
If they lose game two, it's a wrap.
On a brighter note, my Hawks started off their quest with a win. It's funny how all of a sudden everybody and their mama around this way is pulling for them.
Talk about fair-weather fans (myself included:smile-big
🙂. Anyhow, black Hollywood was out in full force yesterday at the Highlight factory.
The atmosphere in the arena was electric. Game two is shaping up to be great as well. I've been told Ludacris will throw a mini concert at half-time and after the game.
I hope to be there.
