It is halftime and though the Warriors now lead 55-49, the game is nothing but luckluster! If this is the trend I can see GSW facing some very hard times ahead. However, like always, they do have more lives up their sleeves...probably a lot more than that feline that shares domicile with us humans, the cat!
We came from a week or two of couple of hard games, from Cleveland to Chicago then back to the bay facing Indiana, Spurs and Mavs... The boys are tired, they spent their full energy on those important wins.. Maybe we gotta have a loss at Washington on Tuesday before we have that full momentum back...
The one thousand dollar question now is, what will it take to beat the Warriors? These last two games have proved but one thing, it aint that easy to beat them for even when it is very obvious that they are not in form, they still manage to win games! Added to this is also the fact that when they are in form, they reduce their opponents to near novices and teams that are expected to offer stiff resistance suddenly melt into jelly for the Warriors to just trample on them...some appear to get beat even before the match.
Warriors will visit Obama at White House on Thursday
When President Barack Obama welcomes the Warriors to the White House on Thursday to honor the team on winning the NBA championship, Stephen Curry will know his way around a little bit.
That's because during his tour of the place last year when he first met Obama, Curry asked where was the room where Obama greets NBA championship teams.
"I actually saw the room, so I know where to go, which will be fun," Curry said.
The Warriors a day after they play against the Washington Wizards will make the trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. along with former teammates Justin Holiday and David Lee, who are expected to be in attendance.
