New administration under Samia Suluhu gives hope after 5 years of hopelessness

Some very backward politics. Naming and shaming an iconic figure in opposition politics is intended to shield himself from legitimate criticism that he is utterly incompetent and a claim that since he was legit elected then he is above reproach is simply preposterous

Very bad timing because the message is hard times are constrained to the rank and file but to those who helped her ascendancy in politics she can reward them despite economic hardships.

It is extremely insensitive to the economic harsh realities which majority are going through

Both of the beneficiaries do not need the gifts doled out to them beyond greed and abuse of public office. They could have politely turned them down but they did not because of avaricious appetite for freebies at the Exchequer expense
