New administration under Samia Suluhu gives hope after 5 years of hopelessness

The PM forms a political committee to address a fact finding mission. The mission is dead before it started because politics are just that. Political solutions have nothing to do with facts on the ground.

We have already made a major projection on this. That CCM will blame the opposition. What do you expect in 7 days the PM has directed his commission.

You can only set a timetable if you know the final outcome

On serious note looks this regime is accursed cause of too many calamities.

Please blame not the opposition nor the disbanded Kariakoor Board

The speech of Madam president today has given new hope of abiding to the rule of law and good governance which activists were clamouring for years.

We are beginning to see commitment to the rule of law and good governance after the rights of whistle blower will be restored. No more incitement to be used to clamp down freedom of speech and expression.

Without freedom of speech and expression the fight against official graft is lost even before it started because in opaque graft thrive unimpeded.

We are planning to follow closely the challenges and achievements of this new administration without biasness in the next four years or so.

As usual we will attempt to focus in the rule of law and good governance.

When thieving politicians twist, turns and brainwash us but facts speak for themselves. Drones, Mr. Politician, do not cost a half billion dollars. Not even $100 M....

Besides there was neither parliamentary approved budget nor was the procurement act observed

What surprises us most no criminal proceedings were launched against you and those who advocate of defunding and abolishment of Takukuru do have a valid point.

Takukuru eats our cash for protecting sharks who also eat our money. No wonder Mr. Taxman is busier looking for ways to milk us white in order to subsdize public institutions which are ineffective to tackle their mandates and also pamper corrupt politicians.

The only time we remember there is Takukuru is when politicians want to persecute the opposition or when they want to solve political problems which have no correlation with criminality. Takukuru the way it is structured has no capability to rein in on official graft.

The cost of living in TZ is rising fast because partly Takukuru is ineffective tool to arrest official graft.

Revoking the Act which established Takukuru will save cash and her mandate be restored to the police. All commissions earmarked to fight criminals like Anti drugs etc all be abolished and its mandate handed back to the police.

In the USA, all these functions fall under the FBI. Why should we conduct ourselves differently? The best we have done is stigmatizing the police who are underpaid compared to other criminal fighting commissions and have weakened co-ordination hurting the very cause we claim to advance...
