So, Raila presidential stab is now a pipe dream. Without the BBI he has no positions to bribe non Jaluo kingpins to support his wavering presidential bid.

To add salt to the wound, Raila decision (not yet announced) to pick a running mate from Kikuyuland (Martha Karua) threatens a revolt in Ukambani and Luhya nations.

Without them and investing on the Gikuyu where few than 10% of the electorate will vote for him speaks decibels about his political ineptitude. His advisers are as poor thinkers as he is, no wonder his political gimmick will mock him comes August.

Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta was left with a blackeye as the Supreme Court ruled he had abused public office in expending public resources to spearhead an unconditional bite


Morally speaking, he is a spent force and will find the political terrain very hostile, indeed.

Moreover, the Court made it abundantly clear the scion of Jomo may be sued after his presidential tenure in personal capacity for wanton abuse of public office.


Looks like the chicken are coming home to roost at last.

We project Raila Amolo Odinga will name Martha Karua (a Kikuyu) as his running mate in few weeks to come.

This is a forlorn attempt by the scion of Oginga to lure the Mountain Kenyan voters into his political landscape.

We also project Mountain Kenyan voters will still reject his presidential bid in favour of William Samuoi Ruto.

We also project the almost ironclad clout Raila held upon Ukambani and Luhya voters will melt away in protest of his controversial running mate pick dealing him with a double jeopardy.

He is trying to hit three birds with one stone but he will end up losing all inflicting a serious damage to his presidential aspirations.

But this is hardly news because Raila's penchant for undermining his political goals is now legendary.


In fact, we must add as a rider: Raila is not a consummate strategist this is why he is not and will never be a presidential material.....

The speech of Madam president today has given new hope of abiding to the rule of law and good governance which activists were clamouring for years.

We are beginning to see commitment to the rule of law and good governance after the rights of whistle blower will be restored. No more incitement to be used to clamp down freedom of speech and expression.

Without freedom of speech and expression the fight against official graft is lost even before it started because in opaque graft thrive unimpeded.

We are planning to follow closely the challenges and achievements of this new administration without biasness in the next four years or so.

As usual we will attempt to focus in the rule of law and good governance.
