DPP office blackmail and extort wrongfully charged citizens and never present any evidence in a court of law to advance their criminal cases in a hope they will break down their victims to submission: admit and part with large sums of money as hefty penalties...it is violations of human rights perpetuated by the very office was supposed to protect citizens against malicious prosecutions...

Rugemalira is now a prisoner of conscience.....and a huge embarrassment to the government eager to claim of an undeserved banner of a restoration of basic rights...this case proves beyond reasonable doubt our sister is not walking the talk.

Our position has always been all criminal cases which the office of DPP lacks evidence should be dismissed for want of prosecution. We need a law which will compel Magistrates to dismiss all criminal cases which the office of DPP want to postpone for want of evidence.

This will lead to the office of DPP refraining from arresting citizens on suspicion of wrongdoing. DPP ought to have secured all the evidence before arrests or he should be removed from office for abuse of power
